Placements and Internships
- Mostly IT and Electrical companies visit the campus for a requirement which provides average salary around 1.75 LPA.
- The JIET Alumni network and teacher guide regarding the jobs as off-campus placement is very helpful.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 4 hostel building in college campus for boys, for girls, there are separate buildings. hostels are ok, as the fee per year is near 50000. as the college is 15-20 KM far from the city so the hostels will be available in the city only. and the cost for outer PG also near 70000 per year.
- The college has a canteen with average food quality and cost.
- All other features like classrooms, labs, libraries are some good but wifi is so poor.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility criteria for admission to JIET are near 50-55% in 12th with PCM.
- The admission process simply fills the offline form by visit college admission section. There was RPET for admission, also may take admission through AIEEE.
Academics and Faculty
- The class starts at 7 AM or 8 AM and goes on till 2 PM or 3 PM. the college conduct extra activities class also like dance, music, paint, sports etc and it is after 3 PM.
- The quality of teaching is average, not so good because most of the teachers are not have too much teaching experience. some teachers have good experience and knowledge too
Fees and Scholarships
- The JIET's Fees are near 65000 per year.
- There are too many scholarships programs available by government and other organizations, from which around 60% students get scholarships if they are eligible for that. but the scholarship is amount is not 100%, it is like 50% scholarship program.
- If any student does not get any scholarship may apply for Loan, the college has connection with one or two banks for the easy loan process.
Clubs and Associations
- Student societies and clubs in the campus are quite good, and the JIET conduct many events in the campus during the tech-fest week.
- Sports & cultural events are too good and well managed.
