Placements and Internships
- Till now there is no internship but companies like SANMAX and CORETECH( IT company) hire students from Govt. College of engineering and technology.
- The salary package starts from Rs. 2.8 lakhs to Rs. 5.4 lakhs depends on students ability.
- The alumni network is not good comparing to other colleges.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There is only 1 hostel in Govt. College of engineering and technology campus for boys.
- The hostel fee is Rs. 25,000 per month and for pg students have to find themselves.
- Food is worst.
- The lab is not clean and wifi facility is not available.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- GCET is an engineering like others and eligibility for admission is 12th in science, maths having mark sheet of RPET exam with rank in 500th position then you can get an admission here.
- The procedure is simple but the cut off range change every year.
Academics and Faculty
- Daily routine, teaching method nothing is good at Govt. College of engineering and technology.
- The teachers come into the class according to their suitable time and for projects and assignments they give marks on the basis of the judgment on you.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fees in Govt. College of engineering and technology is Rs. 75,000 per year for every student from any stream and scholarship is available for those students who came in SC/ST by there cast and every 10-15 students get this scholarship.
- The loans are needed but it is not easy to get.
Clubs and Associations
- Clubs are there in Govt. College of engineering and technology but there is no communication between students and club members and festivals get started this year.
- Life in college is not good.
