- The placement opportunities for Computer Science and Information Technology are very good. A large number of companies visit college every year for offering placement to students. The number of companies visiting college each year is roughly 90 to 110. The salary offered for computer science and Information Technology students are as high as 10Lakh per annum in on-campus recruitment, while students bag even a higher package in off-campus placement. Almost all students, who are eligible for placement, got a job in these two branches. The college conducts various programs like Personality Development Program, Campus Connect Program in association with Infosys to ensure that every student got a job after completing their graduation from college.
- The average salary is 3.5 Lack and nearly 75% students got job offer across all branches of engineering.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College located in Ghaziabad offers admission in various disciplines of B.Tech mainly on the basis of UPSEE exam conducted by the government of Uttar Pradesh for admission in various engineering college across the state. The another way to get an admission in the college is by directly applying to college. Indirect admission the student must satisfy one of the two requirements: Intermediate Board Exam percentage should be greater than 75% or have All India JEE-Main rank of 75000 and below. For direct admission, the student has to fill a form and submit it to the college before the deadline, which is generally in mid of August.

For branches like Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering, the percentage in 10+2 board exam can be as high as 93-95% or UPSEE rank below 5000. For branches like Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering, the percentage in 10+2 board exam lies in between 85-90% and UPSEE ranks lies in 5000-12000. For Civil Engineering and Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering 10+2 percentage lies between 75-85% and the student get admission for ranks as high as 25000 in UPSEE.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The student should have a minimum score of 65% in class 12th. The college gives admission directly on 12th basis and JEE Mains score. 85% seats are filled with JEE mains score and 15% seats are filled with the direct admission procedure .

Clubs & Associations : There are many cultural and technical societies which enhance and develop student skills and talent to grow more. There are many competitions organized by the college to prove yourself. Although a cultural and technical fest are took place.
