8am to 5pm is the class timings. but the specific batch class may very according to time table that very for different batches.
Its mostly lecture type in NIT.
Good. as its nit so the lev.el is of national level.

All the leading compnies. and specific cant be disclosed

Alumni network is very strong in NIT.

There are 13 hostel in total nad fees is Rs. 12000 per sem and included in above mention fees
As all student is accomodated in hostel itself no requirement for that
The food in okk not that good compare to housemade and cost is included in that 12000 as i mentioned
The infrastructure and other services is very good in NIT.

The main student union is gymkhanna under these umbrella all the societies like foe sports and all other thing are there.
Maily we have technosis for tech and cutural fest NIT.
Its good as all the facility like sports lan wifi are there .

The eligblity criteria is 12 th pass and have to get jee(main) good rank admission NIT.
JEE(main) conducted by central authority for all central funded university nad iits and nits.
In our college the cutoff goes on tough now a days and depend on no of high rank student from JEE(main) opting

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND ADMISSION PROCESS:

The candidate must have cleared 12th boards with PCM. JEE MAIN is the entrance exam. 140 out of 360 is the cutoff.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK:

Software companies visit the campus in a large amount, offering salaries up to INR 35 lakhs p.a. Approximately 75% students get placed every year. REXIAN is the organisation which handles the alumni network of the college.

FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP:

The course fee differs as per criteria. It is decided by the Government Of India and varies every year. Since its a government college so no scholarship programmes are available in the college.Yes, students can take a loan and they are easily available.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:

Classes take place from 8 A.M to 5 P.M with a 1 hour off for lunch. Teachers are dedicated towards their work which in turn creates an excellent environment for studying. Overall it is a good college.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND ADMISSION PROCESS:

The eligibility criteria for getting into NIT silchar was that the student should have at least 75 percent marks in 12th standard and he must have qualified JEE MAINS examination. The typical cut off for my course was around 155 out of 360.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK:

No, I have not yet done any internship. The main companies that hire from our campus are IT,finance,marketing etc. Average salary is around INR 5.5-6 lakhs/year and the highest for this year till now is 27 lakh/year. 100 percent students are placed in CSE department and overall it is around 65-70 percent. The alumni of our college works in very renowned companies like google,apple etc. Apart from these there are many start ups also, go ibibo being the most famous of all.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:

NIT Silchar offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Engineering, Science, and Humanities with 1187 departments.
The annual intake for the B.Tech program is more than 500.
The College also has a Kendriya Vidyalaya school up to Class VIII functioning from a temporary building in Campus.The faculty is good and always helpful.They are highly knowledgeable.
The quality of teaching is very good at National Institute of Technology.
