Placements and Internships
- I did two of my Internships of one-one month each.
- The first internship I did with ONGC(Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited), Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. Other I did with RIL(Reliance industries limited),Gadimoga,Andhra Pradesh. I have few achievements as got 1st and 2nd prizes in paper and poster presentation at National and International level of Conferences. I have published two of my papers in the journals.
- Many software companies comes to our campus of Aditya engineering college for hiring students of different different branches.Companies like Tech-mahindra,Virtusa,Wipro,Dell,Infosys,Capgemini,Infotech are frequently visiting our campus for recruitment.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There is a separate hostel for boys and girls present in the campus itself.The hostel is divided into blocks and there are 5 boys block and 3 girls block.Each block hostel has more than 300 rooms in which in a room is divided with three beds and lockers.There are separate A.C and NonA.C hostels.They are also for students interested and for International students.
- The hostel fees are taken in semester wise along with college fees .The fees for accommodation and feeding both cost Rs.35000 for Non-AC and Rs.40000 for AC.Separate canteens are allowed for North Indian students and South Indians according to their food choice. For PG and other options like outside hostels and rooms are available for the students in the nearby areas of 1.5-2 km.
- The quality of food is good as on an alternate day they will serve nonveg for nonvegetarian and panner items for vegetarian.Apart from this in north canteen north foods will be available and similarly south. The quality of classroom is good with big rooms and good ventilations .Labs are equipped with all of the equipment,libraries are filled with nearly all books needed and there are 24 hrs of wifi access with good speed in the entire campus.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- I am a student in Aditya Engineering college, presently pursuing the final year B.Tech program .
- According to Petroleum Technology branch, we all know that in India few reputed institution offers this course and few IITS.Aditya engineering college is situated in Andhra Pradesh state, east Godavari district. It is one of the reputed colleges among 350 colleges from this place.In Andhra Pradesh few college offers B.tech in petroleum engineering, Aditya stands in one of the best among these colleges
- In Aditya, the intake is 60 seats out of that 60 % seats are reserved for local and 40% seats for other state students.
- For getting selected for petroleum course. I wrote a common entrance examination named Aditya EEE exam which is conducted on a state level and according to rank counseling is made. I got state rank as 91 and according to rank, I was on the list of the first day of my counseling. I went for counseling by taking all my school level certificates, there in the panel judges asked many analytical and common questions as the admission procedure, which I was able to answer. Later they told me that many students opted for this course and they have divided 2 seats for each state, so according to the overall academic evaluation, they will select two candidates from this state which they will intimate later.After completion of all counseling dates, I got a call from the selection committee that I along with one more student from Bokaro (Jharkhand) has been shortlisted for this course.
Academics and Faculty
- Daily routine in Aditya Engineering College are as follows,Morning class starts at sharp 09:30am.
- The classes are divided in the interval of 45 minutes each.Total 7 classes are taken by different facculties teaching different subjects in a day upto 3:45 pm.In between 12:30-1:30 lunch break of 1 hour is given.The students who are weak in subjects are given extra class of 30 minutes which starts from 3:45pm to 4:20.Classes get diaperse at 4:20pm.
- Exams are conducted by university as semseter exam in different different colleges as alloting centers,apart from that assignment need to be submited of each subject after completion of each unit.Two Mid exams are conducted of 25 marks for each subject.Among both mid marks best of two marks are taken and adeed in final semster result for overall evaluation.
- The quality and method of teaching is very good as the subjects are taught by Ph.D. professors and labs are conducted by industries expertise. As i am final year student and will pass out within six month.I got lots of things to learn and know from this palce and environment .My overall experiance is quite well and good and if its comes for scoring i ill gv 9 out of 10.
Fees and Scholarships
- My Course fees are Rs.1,05,000 per annum consisting of two semesters.
- State level scholarships are given by the government for students of the different state. Apart from that students while taking admission are given as scholarship according to their percentile score at a school level. More than 70% of students gets the scholarship either through state government or through college.
- The students willing to take loan can easily access education loan with very less interest,this process is done by syndicate bank which is present inside the campus itself. They take care of all the documents and details needed for loan and guide properly for accessing it easily
Clubs and Associations
- Student Societies like Leo club,Blood donation club,Society of petroleum Engineers and many social as well as educational clubs are attached with college.
- There are different region and culture of students present so all types of festival like Ganesh puja,Onam,Pongal,Diwali,Christmas, the celebrated international day is celebrated.
- Tech fest celebrates once in a year on engineers day. Sports meet and state levels sports are played in the campus. The campfire and colours are the main festivals of college. Life in the college is good because it is filled with different culture,society, and lanuage of people which makes to learn and know many things and college is surrounded by full greenery so the environment is also nice.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for this course is that student should pass 10 th . After that they has to write an entrance exam called POLYCETconducted by the state of ANDHRA PRADESH. In this POLYCET exam the students should got minimum 35 marks to qualify the exam. After qualifying the exam the student should attend for the web counselling and he has to select the college.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission into engineering we have to attempt AP EAMCET for examination. If you get a good rank you can choose your own course. If u don't obtain a good rank you get your course according to your rank.
