Placements and Internships

- PUSSGRC have a good record of placements.
- You get an opportunity to sit in around 40-50 companies in the college(some at Chandigarh).
- The key companies in IT are- Infosys, Gryvb, Sufi, Quark, HP, Clicklabs etc.
- The average salary figure is around Rs 3.4-3.7 lacs per annum and the highest salary figure offered is around Rs 5 lacs per annum.
- Usually, around 70-80 percent students got placed in the campus recruitment.
- The alumni have a good network in the IT sector.
- Other than IT companies, much more came for recruitment like SML ISUZU ,SWARAJ TRACTORS, SAPIENT etc.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria are that you should not have any backlogs in 10+2 and should have appeared for the JEE MAIN entrance examination.
- The admission procedure starts after the declaration of the result of JEE MAIN exam.
- Firstly, you have to register yourself with the university registration process in order to take admission in any of the course.
- After the registration ends, the admission process starts with the online counselling process followed by the spot round which is held at Punjab university Chandigarh.
- During the first two online rounds, the typical cutoff is quite high but in spot round if you have a score around 80-100 you are most probably to get admission in SSGRC.
Fees and Scholarships

- The course fee structure is quite moderate in PUSSGRC.
- You have a course fee of around Rs 75000/- per annum in Btech course.
- There are lots of scholarship options provided for the economic weaker sections which are very easy to avail by just providing the detail of the income.
- Scholarships are also provided for the SC/ST/OBC students by the various institutions.
- If you are not able to pay the fee, you can apply for the loan which is quite easy to avail.
