Academics & Faculty : In my university academics is good but there is a lack of placement opportunities. Being a mechanical engineer, if you wish to get placed in a core company then it is difficult because a few core companies visit the campus. If you are an computer science engineer then you have a fair good opportunity to get placement upto a package of Rs 6 lakhs per annum in firms like fidelity, Snapdeal,etc.
