Placements and Internships

Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology, [SCET] Thrissur doesn't provide students with any internship chances.
Most of the companies comming to sahrdaya for recruitment is only IT based companies and only a very few students are getting their jobs. only 20% to the maximum are getting placed from sahrdaya.
Alumini interaction is also not that too strong in this college.only a very few of the passouts are getting backto the college

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees and mess fees at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology, [SCET] Thrissur is Rs. 10,000/-. Hostels are equipped with wifi facility.
Food quality is good comparatively to others.
Overall infrastructure of sahrdaya is one of the best. it has a very nice facilitiy. there is a main block for first year students and office works, a bio block for biomedical and biotechnology, electronics and civil, a knowledge center which is our main library, a chappel, an auditorium, i boys hostel and 3 girls hostel, 1 pg hostel attached to a canteen.

Academics and Faculty

Sahrdaya College of Engineering and technology has from start been an academic focused institution in all aspects. the daily routine itself is a liltle hard to train each individual with a working time of 9 am to 5 pm evveryday and class on all saturdays except second saturday. Routine assignments and tests are conducted to evaluate the knowledge of students. project hours will be got in between still a continuous gap to do the project is not available from this college.
Most of the faculties are from M.tech and a few having Ph.D. and B.tech degrees. The quality of education that they offer is fair enough and method of teaching is also good. we get a lot of notes that are very helpful in our studies.
Overall, for a four-year course, Sahrdaya is a little tiring with its strict rules and timings and very low enjoyment.

Fees and Scholarships

The annual tution fee at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology, [SCET] Thrissur is Rs. 75,000/- per year.
Scholarships are not easily available from anyone from the college.
There are very limited scholarships availed that too limited to a few students that is sometimes got through recommendations.
To bear this 1 lakh+ rate for an year, almost all the students are forced to take an educatioal loan with the present high interest rates. with limited scholarships and high fees existing in sahrdaya is tough ithout an external scholarship.

Clubs and Associations

The student club and societies activities are very less in our college as it is mainly academic focused. we have annual sports day and an annual arts day that too which will be conducted along with class days.
Generally to have an enjoyable college life, sahrdaya is not the plae. you can come here if you are a ecademic focused student alone.
