Jayalaxmi Kamakshi's Review on NMIMS Global Access School for Continuing Education, Mumbai

Since this is a distance education course, direct placements were not offered to me. However, placement help is offered after paying the stipulated amount for it. I chose to search for jobs on my own, after the completion of my course.

Since this is a distance study mode, I did not physically go to college. The quality of the study resources provided in the student portal are very good and can be referred regularly. However, I had to physically go to their campus to write the semester exams and the college infrastructure was good. There are well maintained labs and classrooms equipped with all the facilities.

I have pursued my PGDMM from NGASCE. It was a very resourceful and well drafted course. The eligibility criteria was bachelor's degree in any discipline with a score of 50% and above. Since it is a distance course, I only had to share my certificates and attend a phone call with the college representative. The admission process was very smooth and the learning was enjoyable. 

Since this is a distance mode education, there are two batches for the students: a weekday batch and a weekend batch. Even if the live lectures cannot be attended due to work reasons, the recorded lectures will be available on the portal which can be accessed anytime. The teaching is very good and the lectures are quite interactive. In case of doubts, they will be resolved by the respective teacher after asking them in the query section.

For working people who are eager to study further to enrich their knowledge, I recommend NGASCE since there is enough cushion to balance both, work and studies. There is an assigned counsellor to guide the student in case of any doubts regarding the process. The overall experience with the college was very good and satisfying.

The fees were around Rs 25,000/- per semester at NMIMS Global Access School for Continuing Education Mumbai, including the exam fees, which amounts to Rs 1 lakh for the full course. Since this is a distance education mode, there are no scholarships available. 

I have only attended virtual classes and found them to be very good and resourceful. The overall experience pursuing my Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from NGASCE is knowledgeable and very good.
