I have undergone two internships, one with an advocate in Supreme Court and the second one with a Law firm. The stipend was around 5k. Many students get placed in various corporate law firms, and other companies like Digit Insurance, Sun network and Bajaj Insurance also select students from the college. They are hired as legal trainees and legal advisors, and the average pay is around 5-6 LPA. 15-20% of the batch gets placed every year. There is no specific alumni network.
The college has hostel facilities for girls, and the hostel fees are around 4.5k. The hostel is hygienic, and the food is provided three times a day. The food available in canteen is affordable and tasty. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and each class has a projector. The college has two libraries and one digital library. They also have an auditorium and moot court halls.
The university is known for its high standard of education. Admission is based on merit. They hand out application forms on the specified day, and interested students fill them out. Based on the form and the marks obtained in 12th, students get admitted into the institution if they pass the required cut offset by the college in that year. There are various cutoffs for different sections of the society; the general category may have it up to 98% in 12th Std, whereas the SC/ST category will have a lower cutoff.
The classes are divided into two batches. For the first three years, the classes are conducted from 9:30 to 1:20 p.m. For 4th and 5th years, classes are conducted from 2:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. For each subject, students are required to submit one project. Usually, the semester exams are conducted in November and April. College also conducts mid-semester exams each semester. All the professors are highly qualified, and most of the professors use case studies and PPts to explain concepts. The overall experience is excellent and beneficial for the students.
Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 75k per annum. There is no specific percentage. Each year the number varies. Usually, students do not require loans for fee payment. Scholarship options are available for disabled students, OBC, SC/ST and first graduates in the family.
There are various clubs present in the college, namely Moot Court Association (MCA), All India Report (AIR), cultural club, sports club and NCC. It also hosts two national moot court competitions. K.R.Ramamani Taxation moot court competition and pro bono enviro national moot court competitions. It hosts one cultural event and one sports event every year. Students have many opportunities to pursue co-curricular activities.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission to this college is purely based on a 12th-grade score. The eligibility criteria are merit-based on12th grade marks. The typical cut-offs are above 90%, and further differ based on the courses one chooses.
