Sakshitakawale's Review on Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering

RSCOE has tie-ups and MOU's with reputed universities. In my third year of engineering, I did an internship at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology, Thailand. It was a virtual internship due to a pandemic situation, and I got this opportunity through RSCOE. I learnt Machine learning and deep learning from this internship. In our college the rate of placements is good. Every year more than 100 companies come to our college. Some companies do mass recruitment. But some companies come to hire for a specific role. I can say the lowest package is INR 2.8 LPA and the highest is INR 36 LPA. In my department, Alumni students arrange meetings frequently for us.

I entered into RSCOE in 2018. At that time, there were two ways to take admission in RSCOE. The first one was through JEE exam and the second one was through the CET exam. And in addition to this, the candidate should have 50% in 12th if he wants to take admission through CET. So, I took both of these exams. But get into college through CET marks. So, I remember 112 or 114 marks was the cutoff for the computer engineering course.

During pandemics, classes were conducted online by the college. In the morning class starts at 9 AM and ends at 3 PM. There is the break of 1 hour between the class.

Faculties prepare PPTs and word documents so that students will understand the concepts easily. I like this method of teaching. Overall, college is very good; it makes students productive and arranges many events and webinars.

Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, [RSCE] Pune Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.12 Lakh per annum.

The fee may differ as many students get scholarships. In my class, there are around 75 students; from them, almost 50% of students get the scholarship.

In our department, there are different clubs and societies for the student. Clubs include Android club, Rotaract club, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan club, Research club, Art and Craft Club, and Robotics club. There is also an IEEE student chapter. Every year college organizes a Gandharav event through which students get a platform to showcase their talent. Our college also celebrates sports day. Our college is surrounded by greenery. So I feel peaceful and happy.
