SSC GD Constable 2024 answer key for the re-exam held on Mar 30, 2024 has been released on the official website. The answer key was out on Apr 3, 2024. The applicants will be required to log in to their accounts using the roll number and password to access the SSC GD Constable answer key 2024. Applicants can calculate their scores by following the answer key- 2 marks for the correct answer, while, 0.25 marks be deducted for each wrong answer.

The re-exam was held for a total of 16185 candidates. Applicants will also be able to raise objections to wrong or doubtful answers. However, the candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs.100/- for each question they claim. The link for the same has been shared below.

The commission has also announced the SSC GD Physical Test Dates for the Constable PST and PET. Candidates who checked the answer key and expect their marks to be above the cutoff can start preparing for the SSC GD Physical Test 2024. This is the second stage in the selection process, comprising two stages- The physical Endurance Test (PET) and the Physical Standard Test (PST).

SSC GD Constable Re-Exam Date 2024

The SSC GD re-exam 2024 for the Constable post was conducted on Mar 30, 2024. The date for the same was announced on Mar 20, 2024. Earlier, the exam was held from Feb 20- Mar 7, 2024. However, it was cancelled due to some technical reasons. A total of 16185 candidates will be sitting for the examination.

As per the official notice, "Only those candidates who appeared earlier in the Computer Based Exam for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2024 conducted by the Commission from 20.02.2024 to 07.03.2024 will be permitted to appear in the re-examination."

SSC GD Constable Final Result 2023

The Staff Selection Commission declared the SSC Constable GD Result 2023 for the final paper on Mar 15, 2024. Applicants who took the exam must go through the details carefully. However, as per reports, the final result was out on Aug 20, 2023, but the physical and medical exam couldn't be conducted due to certain reasons, for the Manipur region.

SSC GD Constable 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring for the SSC GD Constable 2024 exam must have a clear idea about the eligibility criteria before registering for the exam. There are certain criteria in terms of educational qualifications and age limit, set by the Staff Selection Commission. The eligibility criteria for the SSD GD Constable exam are as follows.

Nationality

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates who have passed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board are eligible to apply for the SSD GD Constable examination.
• Candidates who are appearing for the 10th examination are not eligible.

Age limit

• The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 23 years during the application process, this can change when the official notification is released.

SSC GD Constable 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates applying for SSC GD Constable 2024 must have a good idea about the pattern of the exam paper in terms of the number of questions, marking scheme, and the duration of the exam.

Moreover, SSC GD Constable exam for CAPF has been reported to be held in 13 regional languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Urdu, Punjabi, Manipuri and Konkani. In addition, Hindi and English were added on Jan 1, 2023. SSC GD Constable exam pattern is divided into four stages.

CBE - Computer-Based Examination

The first stage of the selection process is the Computer Based Examination. There will be 4 sections and each section carries 25 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Overall, there are 100 questions in the CBE.

Marking Scheme and Duration: +1 mark is awarded for each correct answer and there is no negative marking for an incorrect answer. The total time duration of the paper is 90 minutes.
