SBI SO 2021 Service Conditions - Law and Special Management

  • CTC Amount: Remuneration will vary as per centre or posting.

  • Allowances: The official under regular engagement will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension, LFC, Medical Facility etc as per rules in force from time to time.

  • Hard copy: No hard copy of call letter/intimation of interview/written test will be given. It will only be updated online. 

  • Shortlisting: The shortlisting criteria is based on the candidate's qualification, suitability, experience etc for all the applications received.

  • Interview marks: Interview will be of a total of 50 marks and the qualifying criteria will be decided by the bank.

  • Merit List: The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.

SBI SO 2021 Remuneration - Contractual Basis

  • The package will differ as per the posting in cities like for Megapolis, Metropolis and other cities the package is INR 9.00 lakhs, 8.50 lakhs and 7.50 lakhs respectively.

  • The annual increment for the first three years will be INR 50,000/- per year and for 4th & 5th year, it will be INR 1 lakhs per year.

  • Out of total CTC, 70% is fixed and the rest 30% is variable.

  • The selected candidates will be designated as

1st-year Management Trainee
2nd year onwards Assistant Vice President 

SBI SO 2021 Remuneration - Deputy Manager (Internal Audit)

  • All the officials will be eligible for DA, HRA. CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund, LFC, Medical Facility etc. as per rules in force from time to time.

  • Auditors who are placed on mobile duty are having a facility of keeping their family at the place of their choice.

  • Auditors who are on mobile are eligible for reimbursement of travelling and lodging expenses as per their eligibility and also, are entitled to Halting Allowance as applicable to their Grade/Centre.

  • Remuneration will vary as per centre-wise or place-wise.

  • The official will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension, LFC, Medical Facility etc as per rules in force from time to time.


 SBI SO 2021 Selection Procedure & Service conditions

(A). Contractual Basis - The selection procedure for candidates applying for contractual posts is:

  • Selection will be based on first shortlisting and then on one or more rounds of Personal Interview.

  • Mere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not be sole criteria for the candidate being called for interview.

  • The shortlisting committee constituted by the SBI will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the SBI will be shortlisted for interview.

  • The decision of the SBI to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

  • Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order(from highest to lowest) based on scores obtained in the interview only.

  • In case more than one candidate scores the cutoff marks, such candidates will be ranked both in the selection list as well as on the waitlist according to their age in descending order (from highest to lowest).

  • Place of Posting: Mumbai or Various eWealth Centers/Hubs Pan India.

(B). Deputy Manager (Internal Audit) - The selection procedure and service conditions are as follows:

  • Candidates will be selected based on written test and interview. 

  • After aggregating the marks of Professional Knowledge test out of 100 marks and the marks converted which are secured in Group Discussion/Interview out of 25 marks (Total- 125 marks), final merit list will be released.

  • The candidate will be ranked according to their age in descending order in the select list in case more than one candidate scored more than cut-off marks.

  • Place of Posting: Officers recruited for audit will be attached to the internal Audit Department, Corporate Centre, Hyderabad and will be on mobile duty. They will be required to travel for audit purpose within India and abroad.

  • Training: Candidates selected will be subjected to institutional on-job training for a period of maximum 12 months, on completion of which they will be given the independent assignment of branch/office audit.

  • Lateral Movement: Recruited candidates, while continuing in the same job family, may be considered for working in other verticals depending upon administrative exigencies.

  • Promotion Opportunities: Candidates are eligible for promotions as per the promotion policy for specialist officers of the Bank within the Audit Department based on Career Development Scheme that is in place in the Bank.

  • Type of employment: On Permanent basis it is regular.

  • Probation: The selected candidates will be on probation for 12 months, on successful completion of which they will be absorbed into the cadre.

(C). Regular Basis - The selection procedure is as follows:

  • Selection will be done based on shortlisting and Personal Interview.

  • Mere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not be sole criteria for the candidate being called for interview.

  • The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted for interview.

  • Bank will take the final decision to call the candidates for interview and anything against this will not be entertained.

  • Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order based on scores obtained in Interview only.

  • In case more than one candidate scores the cutoff marks, such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, both in the selection list as well as on the waitlist.

  • Probation: Bank will decide the probation.

  • Place of Posting: Place of posting of candidates depends on the requirement of the SBI.
