ANUPGCET Counselling 2023: Seat Allotment, Spot Admission

ANUPGCET Counselling 2023 is conducted immediately after the results of the exams are declared. As part of the admission process, the candidates who have cleared the cut off will be called for the ANUPGCET Counselling 2023 round. Counselling will take place in two phases, depending on the number of seats available. Candidates are obliged to attend the counselling session at the designated day, time, and location based on their rank.

ANUPGCET Counselling 2023 Dates

The candidates who have been shortlisted for the counselling round must keep track of all the key dates of the counselling as well as the ANUPGCET 2023 seat allotment process. For your convenience, we have tabulated the ANUPGCET Counselling 2023 dates in the table given below.

ANUPGCET Counselling 2023 Procedure

Andhra Pradesh University will conduct the counselling once the results are released. Candidates who qualify for the entrance exam will be invited to attend the counselling session. The marks acquired in the exam will be used to determine the candidate's selection. The candidate must bring the documents to the counselling session for verification. The entire counselling procedure is discussed below. 

  • Candidates have to download their Rank Cards/Result and schedule of counselling from the official website. The candidate will also be notified via SMS/Email for the same.
  • If an applicant fails to report to the authority (Director, Directorate of Admissions) when their name is called, they will be considered for a seat at the end of that session, subject to seat availability, and no explanation for the delay in reporting to the authority will be accepted under any circumstances.
  • At the time of counselling, the candidate must pay the processing fee as well as the prescribed admissions fee in a single instalment.
  • A duly filled-in declaration form must be submitted at the counselling.
  • A Candidate once allotted a seat in college can avail of transfer of college by paying the amount of INR 300 for the first time. Candidates can change the college again by paying INR 500 and that would be the last chance to change the college.
  • For reimbursement of fee, the income certificate is invariable to be issued by M.R.O.
  • If the original certificates are not submitted at the time of counselling then the candidate has to pay a total prescribed fee and no concession will be allowed by the conducting body.
  • The income certificate of the parent/guardian issued by M.R.O. is valid if it is issued within six months from the counselling date.
  • The Fee Reimbursement will be limited to INR 20,000 only and if the fee is over and above INR 20,000 the remaining amount has to be paid at the time of counselling failing which the candidate has to forfeit the seat.
  • All the candidates who have been admitted into the PG courses of ANU and are entitled to fee reimbursement of INR 20,000 will have to pay INR 100 additionally.

ANUPGCET 2023 Cancellation of Seat

Once the merit list is out and seats are allotted, candidates have to consider the rules and regulations associated with the seat cancellation policy of ANUPGCET 2023.

  • Candidates eligible for seat allotment will be asked to report to the allotting authority. If the respective candidate fails to report, the allotment will shift to the end of the complete session, subject to the availability of seats.

Documents Required for ANUPGCET Counselling 2023

Candidates after registering for counselling sessions with ANU authorities will have to carry the following documents at the time of their appointment.

  • ANUPGCET 2023 Hall Ticket.
  • ANUPGCET 2023 Rank card
  • Graduation Certificate/ Graduation Degree
  • The transfer letter from the previous college
  • Transcripts from the previous college
  • SSC date of birth certificate
  • Residence certificate of last 7 years, to claim as a local candidate
  • Valid class category certificate in case of reservation claim
  • Certificate of respective authorities in case of special reservation claims under PH/NCC/Sport/CAP
  • Declaration form from the website www.pgcet.anudoa.in.
  • 2 passport size photograph
