The DLIS subject is related to the importance of Libraries along with technology. The DLIS syllabus has both core and elective subjects as part of the curriculum. DLIS is a year-long course with 2 semesters. DLIS is a diploma course that elaborates more on the basic knowledge of books, holistic and historical knowledge, and also fundamentals and principles of library and information sciences, management skills, and organizing skills.
