Campus :-

The promoters who owned jointly 13 Acres and 10 guntas of land in M.P Patelguda gifted 10 Acres 02 guntas to the sponsoring society for the establishment of Visvesvaraya College of Engineering and technology. It provides hustle and bustle free and pollution free environment conducive to effecting learning. The campus has well built compound wall to regulate the entry at the main gate.

Infrastructure :-

Visvesvaraya - About Us The Institution has two storey permanent buildings with a total plinth area of about 19000sq.m with spacious Lecture Halls and laboratories. All the Labs are fully equipped with latest equipment and machinery as prescribed in JNTUH syllabus. The facilities offered in the institution are the embodiment of intellectual maturity of high standard. The Lecture Halls are provided with LCDs and overhead projectors.

Library

The Library's mission is to provide comprehensive resources and services in support of the research, teaching, and learning needs of the student community. To fulfill this mission, the Library commits to: Understand the research, teaching, and learning needs of its users Build collections and create tools to support research, teaching, and learning. Provide access to and promote the discovery and use of local and external information resources. Ensure the preservation and long-lasting availability of Library collections and resources. Create hospitable physical and virtual environments for study, teaching, and research. Collaborate with other members of the University to enrich the research and learning community. Advance local, national, and international library and information initiatives. Develop, encourage, and sustain expertise, skill, commitment and an innovative spirit in its staff.

Digital Library

College has its own intranet facilities, which connects different LANs of all departments, Training & Placement Cell, Academic Cell, Examination Cell, Admission Cell, Administrative & Accounts office, and Central library by Fiber Optics Cable using managed switches. This facilitates Web Based E-mail services, On-line teaching materials, Sharing of Information, resources and valuable data among students, faculties and offices. Computer Science Department has separate Internet lab which provides Internet service through V-SAT (5.12 Kbps) and BSNL 8 Mbps Broadband connection. Lab uses Network Security UTM Firewall to provide safe and secured Internet service to all end users. This facility accounts to all students on the High-End Systems, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The facility has been extended to various departments, Library and different offices.

Auditorium

Well furnished Seminar Hall with accommodation for 500 students with all facilities.

Virtual Class Room

Web based learning cannot rival age-old classroom training .It is a learning object and allows immediate feedback. An instructor can be personally involved with learners. The I.Q and the student’s levels of interest will be evaluated with the help of questionnaires, puzzles, and contests. The video recording, interactive sessions, application sharing and web safaris keep the students in sync. With a view to provide best and futuristic e- learning platforms and self-assessment, the college is equipped with K -Van and Globarena software. 

Seminar Hall

The college has a fully furnished seminar hall with a seating capacity for 200 students. Seminars, Workshops and Student Presentations are carried out here.

Ladies Common Room

There is a dedicated common room for ladies with all the amenities. It is a place where the students can interaction between themselves on different academic aspects and where juniors can have interaction with seniors. In order to meet medical exigency, first aid facilities along with medical care is provided here.

Boys Common Room

There is a dedicated common room with all the amenities. It is a place where the students can interaction between themselves on different academic aspects and where juniors can have interaction with seniors. In order to meet medical exigency, first aid facilities along with medical care is provided here.  

Cafeteria

The Institution has The Institution has canteen back side of the main Building and runs an all the working days from 08.30 am to 04.30 pm, nutritious food and eatables are provided at nominal rates. Quality and quantity of the food items are checked regularly and Managers are maintaining the canteen hygienically all the time.

Portable Water

Our College has got 5,000 Ltr. Mineral Water Plant with Cooling Mechanism which quenches the thirst of all the students and staff .

Hostel

The Institution has well furnished separate hostels for both boys & girls. The Hostels are well managed under the supervision of the Management and Principal. The day to day’s affairs of the boys Hostel are managed by the Warden. The Girls Hostel is managed by an experienced Matron. She looks after day to day affairs the discipline and welfare for the inmates of the Girls Hostel. Additional accommodation was provided by constructing Second Floor of the Boys’ Hostel. A separate dining hall was also constructed during last year. Canteen: A Canteen is provided in the institute premises to provide quality and nutritious Tiffins and meals for day scholars and staff members at a reasonable cost.
