Animal Feed Analytical and Quality Assurance Laboratory

• Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal has an Animal Feed Analytical and Quality Assurance Laboratory A test the feeds meant for poultry and livestock. Testing feed/feed ingredients for their proximate components and mycotoxins is done on cost effective basis on samples received from all over the country.

Computer Center:

• This center offers courses on computer applications in veterinary and animal sciences to postgraduate students besides offering internet services to departments and students.
• Computers in various departments are connected with local area network of TANUVAS.
• Students are also given free hands-on training in computer applications.

Library:

The University has a library database that consists of:

• 9,975 books
• 87 journals
• 2800 back volumes
• 48 video cassettes
• 97 CD/DVD
