Library as a Learning Resource

A full time well qualified Librarian is available with attendant. Five computers with internet access and photocopier facilities are available as technical support for the library. Available Library resource are books(7295), Reference, Journals, Encyclopedia, National Magazines, Daily newspaper as per NCTE, University norms and needs of the students.

Library Advisory Committee is functional in the college. This committee takes decision regarding the maintenance, optimal utilization and extension of the Library. It remains open on all working days from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It has internet facility for staff and students.

HOSTEL

The college has an excellent air-cooled hostel facility available seperately for boys and girls with comfortable boarding and lodging. The hostel is well equipped with all the facilities for the students such as TV, Guest Room, and Common Room. To provide comfort and facility to the hostellers, 24 hours power supply to hostel is backed by generators. The hostels are provided with kitchen facilities, phones. The hostels are managed by separate wardens under a Chief Warden.

COMPUTER FACILITIES

Open access computing facilities are available for all students. The two main computer labs are fully equipped with all the necessary software and hardware. Students have free access to the labs and free access to the Internet. Its provide, update, manage and ensure the satisfactory operation of computational facilities.

SPORTS AND RECREATION

Translam Group of Institutions has a well equipped Gymnasium and other sports related facilities. The campus has several indoor badminton courts, Table Tennis Tables, Skating, swimming, etc. There are playgrounds for Cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, etc.

MEDICAL CENTER

A Medical center has been built on the campus. Services of one regular doctor will be made available to provide first aid to the students as and when needed. Periodic height, weight and medical checkup of the students will also be conducted.
