I don't know about these because I am a day scholar... The quality of classroom is average... Yes, there is a wifi... And also AC in rooms

  • There are 4 different hostels for the students of The Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences.
  • The infrastructure of hostels are quite good and has all the facilities.
  • Also, it is accommodated with Wi-Fi. The hostel fees is just 40,000 per annum. The food is very hygienic and tasty which costs 30 - 35 rupees per meal.

HOSTELS & FOOD
Every student can easily get housing facility inside as well as outside the campus.Hostel is very large ,provide good sports facility to students.quality of food in mess is very good.students also manage the food from outside the campus.

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION
Outer infrastructure of college is average and it is spread in the large area.Conditon of labs ,seminars hall ,conferenece hall is very good.Tit&s college is very near to railway station so the transportation connectivity is very excellent.Students easily get autos and buses to reach college campus.Wifi access  always active during college time.

Facilities :-

Auditorium

An acoustically designed auditorium with a huge seating capacity is available for lectures, seminars and cultural activities.y.

Open Air Theatre

The Hostel Campus also has an Open Air Theatre where various cultural events including annual functions like Fresher Day, Farewell Function etc.., are organized, every year.

New Technology Block

The newly constructed Technology block accommodates the Departments of Computer Engg, Information Technology, Electronics and new Fashion Block with well equipped labs and spacious lecture theatres, conference rooms, seminars halls and facility offices.

Internet and computing facilities

A dedicated Leased line of 20 Mbps (Reliance) and 2 Mbps (BSNL) are available to provide high speed internet facility to the students. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled.TIT&S provides Internet facilities to all students in the hostels also.

Computer & IT Labs

The Institute has 9 Computer & IT Labs fully equipped with latest state-of-the-art hardware and software.

Library

There are three different spacious fully air conditioned and computerised Libraries- one each for Textiles, MBA and Comute, IT and Electronics departments.
There are more than 28,000 books and bound Periodicals in all the three libraries. The Institute also subscribes to over 104 National Journals and 242 International Journals including e-journals.
All the three libraries are computerised using Libsys software.

Conference Rooms

The Institute has 5 spacious Conference rooms wherein the soft skills of the students are developed through various work-shops, confrences, seminars, group-discussions etc.

Dress Code

The Institute is having its dress code, which gives a sense of belongingness and commonality in the institute . Besides, dress code encourages students to be smartly dressed and more disciplined. All students are required to come in classes and all other official functions in proper and prescribed dress/uniform.

Canteen

The institute has a cafeteria which is kept opened for 8 hrs. a day . It provides a wide range of eatables including Tea, coffee, samosaas, burger, chowmein, dosa etc.

Hostels

There are Four Boy's hostels and a separate girls hostel having a total of 500 single seated rooms with a large dining hall and a cafeteria. All the Hostel rooms are fitted with ceiling fans. A fully Vegetarian hostel mess is being run by student themselves on the cooperative basis under the guidance of Faculty members. Hostel
accommodation would be allotted strictly on 'first come first served ' basis.
