Entrance Exams & Admissions : I had written KCET exam to get admission in Shyamanur Shivashankarappa Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre. The students can also join by clearing the NEET exam. You have to pass the 12th to appear in any entrance exam.

Placements & Internships : You have to do a 1year internship in a medical course at Shyamanur Shivashankarappa Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre.

Academics & Faculty : Classes are taken regularly in Shyamanur Shivashankarappa Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre. Classes start at 8:00 AM. There are 3 internal exams are conducted with practicals and Final exams are at the end of the academic year. The quality of teaching is quite good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There one boy's hostel and one girl's hostel and one international hostel present in Shyamanur Shivashankarappa Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre. Food is available in the mess present near the hostel. There is no Wi-Fi available, other infrastructures are satisfactory.
