Infrastructure

Shriram Institute Technology believes in providing best available aids and facilities to its students to ensure that a complete learning environment is maintained at the institute. We believe in experiential learning experience for the students and make all efforts to supplement lectures with knowledge imparted in the labs. 

Laboratories

Computer Lab

SRIT hosts a state of the art computer network with enough computers to provide an individual desktop to every student in the lab. Each of these computers has applications installed to enable our students get acquainted with latest softwares and tools that form industry standards. Our alliances with various software providers like Microsoft, Oracle, Sun, etc. enable us to equip our computers with professional or educational versions of these softwares. Our computers are also equipped with internet facility through a satellite link that is available for students to use during regular business hours.

Physics Lab

Our physics lab houses latest apparatus and equipment for our students. We also house a dark room for conducting optics experiments.

Chemistry Lab

We have established our chemistry lab to accommodate 30 students at the same time to ensure that all the students get required attention from our faculty and staff. It is equipped with all the required fire safety systems to ensure maximum safety for our students while conducting chemical experiments.

Mechanics Lab

SRITs mechanics lab is equipped with all the tools and apparatus required for conducting experiments regarding principles of dynamics, control thermodynamics, and heat transfer.

Electrical Lab

A large well-equipped electrical lab has been set up with all the experimental set-ups and electrical instruments to promote complete understanding of electrical systems.

Workshop

A spacious facility has been established by Shriram Institute of Technology with latest equipments and tools for the students to practice their skills of Carpentry, Welding, Machining, Filing, and Smithy. The workshop has following shops established with the machines and tools:

Machine Shop, Sheet Metal Shop, Welding Shop, Carpentary Shop, Filing Shop, Smithy Shop

Library

A fully furnished and well stocked library is the backbone of a technical institution. SRIT boasts of a central, digitally enabled library with thousands of books, periodicals, journals, and magazines. Our library is also digitally linked to hundreds of libraries around the world, and NPTEL to provide our students with access to e-journals, various national and international publications, technical books, and videos. SRIT also provides a book bank facility where a student can obtain books for an entire semester for a small refundable deposit.
