SASTRA University Cut off 2021 Details

SASTRA University Cut Off:

SASTRA University offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering, Commerce, Science, Law, Arts and Humanities and Business. PhD courses are also offered on specific subjects. SASTRA University, Thanjavur was established in 1984. The University has 'A' grade certification from NAAC and it is approved by University Grants Commission [UGC] and All India Council of Technical Education [AICTE]. 

SASTRA University Cut Off for Undergraduate programs:

  • SASTRA University cut off for engineering is based on 2 streams. All the applicants will be eligible for both the streams and need not submit two separate application forms. This application will be considered for both streams.

  • Stream 1 for 70% of seats will consider both JEE mains score and 12th standard scores whereas stream 2 for 30% seats will only consider 12th standard scores.

  •  Applicants under stream 1 will be admitted to 70% of the seats based on JEE [Main] 2019 percentile score and +2 marks.  The weightage for JEE Main scores and +2 marks will be 25% & 75% respectively. The JEE Main percentile score and normalized +2 aggregate will be taken together as per the weightage and applicants will be ranked based on the resultant combined score.

  • Applicants under Stream 2 will be admitted based on their normalized aggregate +2 or its equivalent marks. This is for 30% of the total seats

  • Admission to the B.Optom course will be based on NEET 2019 scores and normalized 12th standard marks. The weightage for NEET scores and 12th standard marks will be 25% & 75% respectively.

  • For all degree programmes in Law, admissions will be based on the CLAT-2019 Scores and 12th standard aggregate taken in the ratio of 25 %: 75% respectively

SASTRA University Cut Off for Postgraduate programs:

  • SASTRA University cut off for M.Tech is purely based on scores obtained in GATE and the marks obtained in B.E/ B.Tech.

  • Candidates CLAT 2019 score in case of Law and CAT/XAT/AIMAT/CMAT/ AIMCAT in the case of MBA will be considered for admission to the postgraduate programs

  • Candidates applying for M.Optom need to have scored at least 60% in B.Optom and need to take the entrance examination at Elite School of Optometry, Chennai.
