Sanketika Vidya Parishad Engineering College was established by Late Sri. S. Alwar Das (former Education Minister, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh) in 1979, these institutions have an avowed commitment to provide high quality education to all sections of society- from primary level to research. 

The Vision of the management is to ensure high quality education by building and running institutions par excellence in the fields of engineering, management, pharmacy and applied sciences, by equipping the students with latest techniques and make them role models in their chosen fields. The aim is to enable them to reach greater heights and also to inculcate ethical values and discipline in them, thereby, help them become good and useful citizens of India.

The College leadership has been instrumental in founding a number of pioneering courses in response to the needs of the Indian Society.
