Health Centre

• The Sambalpur University campus area has a health centre that provides medical services to students, faculty, employees, and any who lives in the vicinity of the university. 
• The average annual number of outside patients is around 13000. 
• In addition to treatment, the health centre has a pathology laboratory where numerous pathological investigations occur. 
• A wide range of instruments for medical treatment and pathological inquiry are available.
• During the summer, the acute care unit in the new expansion building serves heat-stricken patients.
• It also offers an ambulance service. During all outdoor events at the university, the health centre also provides first aid services.

Library

• Encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks and manuals, statistics, and yearbooks are housed at the Sambalpur University library. The sources in the collection range from general to subject-specific. The reference section contains all of the reference sources.
• Internal and external users can pay for photocopying and printing materials for personal use.
• The library now has 11 user computers on the network that users can use to access the internet, online journals, and other databases in the computer lab. Two PCs in the circulation section are blocked from accessing the library's online/web catalogue.
• Sambalpur University provides an interlibrary loan service that allows patrons to request resources from other libraries that the central library does not own.

Hostel

• The Sambalpur University campus area has ten postgraduate hostels, four of which are ladies hostels and six of which are gents hostels. 
• The hostels are equipped with various amenities, such as a common room with a television, a reading room with newspapers and magazines, a guest room, first aid, and an STD telephone booth. 
• For the advantage of students, the central canteen has been established near the Sambalpur University hostel.
