Laboratories

Almost all the departments are  provided with computers to transmit intellectual information to the students and the staff. Other infrastructure and learning resources include laboratories in Science departments and in the department of Psychology, Education and Geography with latest instruments, laboratory equipment and test materials.The college has separate spacious well-equipped laboratories for the subjects having practical facilities. Now_21   laboratories (Physics-  02    Chemistry-  03      Botany-   04   Zoology-   04  Comp.sc- 02     Geography-  03   Education-    01 Psychology-  02   ) are in our college which provides ample scope for improvement of practical knowledge of the students.

Information Bureau 

The college has a Students’ Information Bureau which provides information to the students about opportunities for higher studies and employment both inside the country and abroad. This Bureau also organizes Career Counselling Talks by inviting experts from various fields of activity. This helps the students immensely in availing opportunities to pursue higher study and choose appropriate professional career.

Common Room

The college has a Staff Common Room for staff members, Boys' Common Room, Girls’ Common Room for students.

Basic facilities

Toilets, water filters, water coolers are available at different points to cater the needs of the staffs and the students.

Playground and Gymnasium

In the campus there is a wonderful playground with a gallery and dressing room where students utilize their leisure time in playing different games and there are two beautiful gardens which enhances the beauty of the college.The college has a large  playground and one gymnasium to cater the needs of the students and other cultural organisation of Puri town. Already various national level competitions have been undertaken. Last year the national level Wrestling Championship was undertaken here. The Gymnasium is equipped with sophisticated equipment for exercise, which are made available both for students and lecturers. It acts as a health centre for students and teachers.

The College has three hostels, one for girls and two for boys. The capacity of  these hostels are as follows :

Other Health Care Services

  There is the provision of health care facilities for students and all other staff members of the college, which is located at Youth Red Cross Room.

Canteen

The College has a Canteen, which provides snacks, lunch, hot and soft drinks to the staff and students of the college at concessional rates.

POST OFFICE & BANK 

  The college has one sub  post office, and one branch of UCO bank(IFSC-UCBA0001936) in its campus, which is a provides valuable services to both staffs and students of the college

Library

The college is proud of its central library, which has an excellent collection of books, journals and other reading materials. It fulfils the five fundamental laws of Library Science; namely

• Working days of the library – 240 days
• Working hours of the library – 7 hours per day

The library has an advisory committee with the Principal as the Chairperson and Professor in charge of library as Vice-Chairman and senior members of the faculty members.
