The following scholarships and financial aids are Provided to poor and meritorious students by State, Central Governments and from college fund.
1. National Scholarship :
Meritorious students +2 and +3 degree having an annual income not more than Rs. 18,000 of their parents.
2. National Loan Scholarship :
Meritorious students of +2 & +3 degree securing not less than 50% of marks in th last qualifying examination and the income of their parents must not exceed Rs. 18,000 per annum.
3. Post Matric Scholarship :
Stipend is given to ST/SC students by T.R.W. department of the Govt. of Orissa.
4. Hindi Scholarship / Sanskrit Scholarship :
Meant for students of +2 and +3 degree securing good marks in Hindi.
5. Merit Scholarship :
a) Juniour College Merit Scholarship :
Meant for meritorious +2 students securing not less than 60% marks in the Annual H.S.C. Examinationof the same year conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Orissa.
b) Senior College Merit Scholarship :
Meant for meritorious degree students on the basis of marks secured at the Annual +2 Arts / +2 Science / +2 Commerce examination conducted by C.H.S.E., Orissa.
6. Feedom Fighter Scholarship :
Awarded to the children of freedom fighters.
7. Stipend to Orthopaedically Handicapped Students :
Awarded to blind, lame and such other handicapped students whose age bar falls within 17-30 years. They must have secured at least 40% of marks in the H.S.C. Examination.
8. Scholarship for Teachers Sons :
Meant for children of Primary/High School Secondary School Teachers securing at least 60% of marks at the last qualifying examination.
9. Students Aid Fund :
From this fund financial aid is generally granted to need and deserving students who are not granted such aid from other sources.
