As a part of the efforts to develop and strengthen relationship with the corporate globe, RIMT has outlined a long-term strategy to place students in prestigious organisations. A well organised placement division functions with a full-time dedicated staff, who continuously monitor the employment potential and arrange campus placement for the students. Also, students are kept informed about the potential job opportunities and guidance. As a part of industry- institute interaction, students are exposed to the real work environment of various Industries. Hands-on training is imparted to students in the conventional as well as in advanced techniques.

The Training and Placement division stays in touch with the industry by inviting them to visit the University for Campus Interviews.
The division organises sessions aptitude test, group discussion and guidance programmes on how to face interviews for students. The placement cell also assists students to produce quality final year project. Here, the advice of experts is adhered to, on behalf of students wishing to apply for higher education at various universities within the country and abroad.
RIMT has created total infrastructure for effective functioning. The various activities, undertaken regularly are- placement of the students, entrepreneurship awareness & development programmes, invited lectures of the persons from industry & other institutions, Personality development programmes etc.
RIMT explores the avenues for employment of students in reputed organisations in consultation and coordination via campus interviews, off-campus interviews and job fairs.
Every institute’s academic performance is gauged by its placement record. In order to achieve consistent efforts towards this direction, RIMT establishes contacts with various companies, organisations and industries, helping creating opportunities for on campus placement of the students. The off campus opportunities are also created with external inputs as well as contacts with industry and alumni. Students of all streams get ample opportunities of attending job fairs organised by other institutes.
