As a part of the efforts to develop and strengthen relationship with the corporate globe, RIMT has outlined a long-term strategy to place students in prestigious organisations. A well organised placement division functions with a full-time dedicated staff, who continuously monitor the employment potential and arrange campus placement for the students. Also, students are kept informed about the potential job opportunities and guidance. As a part of industry- institute interaction, students are exposed to the real work environment of various Industries. Hands-on training is imparted to students in the conventional as well as in advanced techniques.

The Training and Placement division stays in touch with the industry by inviting them to visit the University for Campus Interviews.
The division organises sessions aptitude test, group discussion and guidance programmes on how to face interviews for students. The placement cell also assists students to produce quality final year project. Here, the advice of experts is adhered to, on behalf of students wishing to apply for higher education at various universities within the country and abroad.
RIMT has created total infrastructure for effective functioning. The various activities, undertaken regularly are- placement of the students, entrepreneurship awareness & development programmes, invited lectures of the persons from industry & other institutions, Personality development programmes etc.

General Proficiency
Training and Placement division organises campus interviews for final and pre final year students and provides guidance to students for competitive exams like GATE, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL and CAT. The placement cell arranges Project work, Industrial training, and Industrial visits for the students. Group discussions on latest topics, seminars on latest topics, personality development programmes, training programmes are part of the course curriculum that is supported by faculty members as well.
Language Skills
This comprises includes grammar, vocabulary, reading and Writing etc.
HR Skills
Communication Skills (Barriers, Effective Communication) Presentation Skills Study Skills (Note Taking, Organizing, Data, Memory and more), Mind Maps, Memory Techniques IP Styles Role Plays, Goal Setting, Team Skills, Communication Sensitivity, Resume Preparation, Group Discussions. Varied books are available in the library to help students to prepare for interviews and entrance examinations. The Training & Placement division ensures and takes care to provide the best arrangements and hospitality for the visiting companies’ officials.
