Infrastructure Facilities at Parul Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Vadodara:

Parul Institute of Pharmacy and Research has provided a laboratory facility to carry out scientific research-Drug design, discovery and delivery technologies in the area of different pharmacy branches at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Parul Institute of Pharmacy and Research has equipped and properly maintained laboratories as per the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

Department of Pharmaceutics:

• This department has been provided with all the latest equipment of drug delivery technology to perform various pharmaceutical research activities.
• Separate machine room has been provided with all the sophisticated machines like Cryocentrifuge, Differential Scanning Calorimeter, Dissolution Test Apparatus, Ultrasonicator, Polarising Microscope, Homogenizer, lyophilizer, Spray Dryer, Tablet Compression Machine etc.
• Apart from this pharmaceutical technology and NDDS department also have a facility for biotechnological research under aseptic condition.

Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis:

• This department has analytical instruments room with sophisticated instruments like Ultraviolet Spectrophotometer (UV), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer (FTIR), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), PH-meter, Ultra Sonicator, SpectroFluorimeter, Colorimeter, Conductometers etc.

Department of Pharmacology:

• This department has been equipped with Plethysmometer, Analgesiometer, Convulsiometer, Eddy’s Hot plate, Rota rod apparatus and student’s Physiograph.
• The laboratory also has models and charts of human anatomy and physiology. Along with this, the department has been provided a separate animal house to perform animal activity.

Department of Pharmacognosy:

• It has facilities for Plant Tissue Culture, Sohxlet Extractors, Distillation unit, TLC chamber, Travelling Microscope, Student Projection Microscope, Digital Balances, Heating Mantle, Hot Plate, Muffle Furnace, etc.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry laboratory:

• It has facilities for qualitative analysis, organic synthesis and pharmaceutical analysis of drugs and excipients. The laboratory is furnished with all the latest instruments and apparatus for the chemistry experiments.
