There is also IDIA working on campus for helping weak students to pass clat. University have in Inter-University level a Sports fest(Yuvardha) and Arts (NH 65) one in every alternate year. University has inter-University moot court competition on antitrust. Inta University sports (Agon and Poltimore) and cultural week (Hues) is there with cricket league(NSL) and Football league (Lex La Liga). Also, there is an academic week (Light blub) in intra University and debate competition on an inter-University level. College life is very peaceful and happy if there is proper time management. There is only correct time for everything and no extra minutes. There is plenty of academic and nonacademic activities to be a part of

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Students from any back ground can join this college. Admission is done through an aptitude test called clat ( More details on http://www.clat.ac.in). It is an MCQ exam with 200 questions and duration of 2hours. Exams usually happen in May for which online application for is open from March. Students awaiting 10+2's result can also apply for the test. Based on results, admission is happening to on of 19 National Law Universities. Entrance is Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) There results are supposed to be more than 55% in 10+2. More than 1 lack students appear for the exam every year out of which around 4000 students will get placed in different NLUs.

Placements & Internships : Recruitment Committee of NLUJ help to obtain Internships from prefers firms of students. Students can also obtain internships through independent applications. Students have reported obtaining stipends varying from 3000 to 15000. Legal firms like SAM, CAM, Trilegal, Luthara, LKS etc hire from the college. The average salary is repeated between 8 lakh per annum and 10 lakh per annum. Highest have heard is 20 lakh per annum. Almost 80% of batch who sits for campus placements are hired. (Some students also give civil service exam or join litigation practice or try higher studies). NLUJ have great alumni network as one will be present in every top law firms of the country.

Fees & Scholarships : Course feel is around 180000 per annum (everything excluding food). Students having higher ranks in clat can apply for Aditya Birla Scholarship. Out of 10 applicants 2 or 3 usually get it every year. For some loans are needed and depending upon various policies providing educational loan for LLB changes. Visit nearest bank if it is needed.

Academics & Faculty : Till 3rd year 6 daily lectures every day 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM in summers and 9:00 AM to 3: 15 PM in winters) 4 lecture for law and 2 for BA. By 3 year will complete BA and next 2 one law subject specialization happens along with other law subjects. Entire academic marking scheme is divided into 50%internal and 50% end term exam marking. In the internal, subjects have 4 Continuous Assessment test out of which 3 is considered. This makes 30%of 50%in subjects that don't have Court Room Exercise (CRE). If CRE is there, the CA have 20% weight and CRE has 10%weight. Rest 20, some subjects have Mid Term Examination and Some Subjects have project submission. Method of teaching includes daily lectures, seminars, presentations, teaching assignments to students etc. Teachers are showing good quality in their work. Overall experience in college is fun since have balanced time and importance allotted to both academics and non-academic works.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 6 Hostels for Boys and 6 hostels for girls inside the campus. Girls hostels are inside separate area inside campus with the wall around. Each student is provided with the single room. Each floor has 20 rooms with common bathroom. Differently able students are provided with rooms with attached bathrooms. Around 15000 per year is hostel fee. Internet fee of 10000 per year. There are one Vegetarian and two non-vegetarian Mess inside campus seeing decent quality food. Average price varies from 40 to 60 for veg and 80 to 100 for non-veg. Classrooms are of standard quality with single seating chairs. There is a two-floor library with the decent collection. Dining Halls are big and Attached to mess. WI-FI available in class rooms and library also. Hostels are provided with internet cables to each room. We have University team for almost all sports. We also have journals on various subjects of Law. We also are very keen about moot court and debating competitions. College have 1 sport (yuvardha) and one arts festival ( NH 65) which are inter University happening in ever alternative year ( sports in one, arts in next sport nest and repeats) College also Conduct Anti Trust moot court competition and debating competitions for outside participants. There is cultural and sports week ( Sports : Ageon and Polimos and Arts : Hues) each every year, intra University. There are also literary festival (light bulb), cricket league (NSL), football league (Lex La Liga) every year. Also there are movie shoes by cultural Committee and Film Society in reasonable gaps). College life is just fun with academics and non academics are present in proper mixture.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission to National Law University Jodhpur is through appearing for an exam called Common Law Admission Test (more details on http://www.clat.ac.in, this year exam is on May 13).It is an aptitude based test consisting of 200 and 120 minutes. There will 50 questions on GK, 50 on basic legal knowledge, 40 on English, 40 on logic and 20 on Mathematics. Students of any academic background can appear for this. It is a normal aptitude tertiary which can be cracked easily. Admission is happening to 19 Universities, which are considered to be topmost law schools in India is happening through CLAT this time. Any person who complied 10+2 can appear for same( can also appear when results for 10+2 is awaited). Application details available on the website. Cutoffs changes each year, still less than 300 out of more than a lack is needed to get into top 5 colleges. NLU offers BBA LLB and BA LLB and LLM of Law also

Placements & Internships : An internship can be found with help of Recruitment Committee (RICC) with top law firms in the country. Or you can find it individually. Stipends vary from 4K to 15k a month. In placement, the average is 12 lakh per annum. Highest can go up to 18 lack usually per annum, Almost 80% looking for campus placement get placed from here. But some also choose, civil service, higher education etc after this. Alumni network is great. We have one alumnus at least place in all top legal firms in India.

Fees & Scholarships : The fee is around 180000 per annum, including tuition, hostel, electricity, gym, examination etc (excluding mess fees, which food have to be bought every day). Aditya Birla Scholarship is available for the first couple of ranks which is selected through a test and interview . Loan may be needed sometimes, but some part it may be hard to get education loan for LLB course. Contact the nearest bank, since different banks have different policies.

Academics & Faculty : Each year is divided into two semesters. Class timings, Summer 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM, Winter 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM (6 lectures a day till the 3rd year and reduces in 4th and 5th year). 1 Hour lunch break in between. Each subject has a division of marks into internal and external with equal weight given. In Internal Exam Each subject usually has 4 Continuous Assessment test throughout semester out of which 3 is considered. For subjects without Court Room Exercise (Law subjects), this creates 30% of Internal 50% of marks. With subjects with CRE, this creates 20% and CRE makes 10% of internal. Some subjects have project submission making 20% and subjects without project submission midterm examinations make 20%. 50% of the total is from end term examinations. Quality of teaching is okay. Method of teaching includes daily lectures, seminars, presentations etc. Overall it's a pleasant experience in college. There is good academic and sports opportunity in this college.

Girls have hostels inside a separated through walls area inside campus. There are 3 common mess. One is pure Vegetarian and others are non vegetarian. Hostel cost around 25000 per semester including free Internet all time. Electricity also available and geysers are there for hot water. Each Hostel have 4 floor with 20 single rooms each capacity. All students are alloted with single rooms. There is 3 Toilets and 3 Bathrooms common in a floor. For special students there is one bathroom attached room in every floor. Food is decent in college mess. Average veg cost 40 to 60 per lunch and dinner and around 30 to 40 per morning. Classrooms are standard ones with A/C. Hostel rooms are allowed for students to buy personal coolers and keep. AC in hostel room is not allowed. Oral / Argument practice is happening in Moot Court Rooms through CRE. Got 2 floor library with is Great. Dining HALLS are attached to all the messes. WiFi is available in Academic Block and Library. Hostel Rooms are provided with Etherer net cables. There is Gym, Courts for Badminton, Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, fields for cricket and foot ball, A small Juice Shop, Saloon, Fast food shop inside campus. Students are supposed to be inside campus before 9PM and 11PM if permission but warden is provided with.
