Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission in NIT AP was through an entrance examination i.e., JEE MAIN (Join entrance examination).

Placements & Internships : I have not completed any internships yet.

Academics & Faculty : Class starts at 9 am in the morning and end at 5 pm in evening. There is lunch break from 1pm to 2pm. In NIT AP guest lecturers teaches the first year students and HOD get involved in teaching the other year students.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 10 hostels 2 for girls and 8 for boys. Fooding quality is not so good. The hostel is run by the hostel mess in charge who made a contract with the college and runs the mess. Hostel fee is free but mess fee is not. Mess fee is around RS 3500 per month. Classroom quality is also not up to the mark as compared to other NITs. There are no sperate buildings for each department. The college campus is not permanent. The permanent site is under construction which is situated in a remote village in Itanagar the capital city of the state Arunachal Pradesh. The permanent site is situated in a village called Jote. Wifi has been provided in every hostel. The library is alright required books are available here. Labs have all the required equipment.

Clubs & Associations : There is no any students' society but students gather if there is a mass need. Students organize annual festivals like Addovedi and Attulyam. Actually, Addovedi is annual tech festival. In this festival, there are events like robo-wars, science exhibition etc and Attulyam is the annual music festival. During this events, students perform their talents on the stage.
