NIT Trichy Ph.D (Chemistry) Fees

Students who wish to pursue NIT Trichy Ph.D (Chemistry) must fulfill the minimum eligibilty criteria as mentioned below. .

Educational Qualification	Required Eligibility
Completed Masters	Must have a postgraduate degree in a related field from a recognized university

Part-time Ph.D. is offered to working professionals Government Public Sector/ Industries and others. There are two broad categories for these candidates Part-time (External) and Part-time (On-campus).
After the scrutiny shortlisted applicants are called up for the written test. Candidates are shortlisted based on the written test performance, technical and personal interview by the Department Research Committee.
The fees for Ph.D. students without institute contingency is INR 1300 more during the even semesters.
For SC/ ST category students the fees are INR 39250.

Scholarships	Eligibility
Central Sector Scholarship	SC/ ST students can avail this scholarship It is given based on their inter-merit list for the year 2017-2018 Parent's annual income should not exceed INR 4.5 Lakhs
Post-Metric Scholarship	Backward class and most backward class, first-year UG students can avail this scholarship Parent's annual income should not be more than INR 2.5 lakh
Merit-cum-means scholarship	Parent's income should not be more than 2.50 lakh per annum Students must have secured not less than 50% marks at the senior secondary examination Minority community students can avail this scholarship
Oil & Natural GasCorporationScholarship	SC/ ST students can avail this scholarship Parent's annual income from all the sources should not be more than 1.50 lakh
SRI J. Ramakrishnan Memorial Scholarship	Computer Science, EEE, ECE and MCA students can avail this scholarship Students must have academic Record with minimum CGPA of 6.0 Family income should be less than INR 400,000/- per annum
Ramabadran Narayanan Scholarship	Students of II/ III year EEE branch can avail this scholarship Students should have a minimum CGPA of 6 and above in recent semester Family income or the parent’s income should be less than INR 600,000/- per annum
Silver 72 Educational Trust scholarship	NITT Students can avail this scholarship It is a merit/ need-based scholarship
