Nalanda Open University (NOU) is a public university that was established in 1987 by the orders of the Government of Bihar. It is the only university in the State of Bihar providing education through distance and open education. The university was named after the famous Nalanda University of Ancient India and is currently the second-largest open university in India. NOU provides UG, PG as well as diploma courses.

This university is also at present, the only university where courses on Bihari languages are offered.

NOU Result Recent Updates:

Nalanda Open University (NOU) officials have declared the NOU Exam Result 2020 for UG and PG Courses.  Students who have appeared the exams for BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, MA, M.Com, M.Sc, B.Ed, and other courses, can check the NOU Result 2020. For the BA examinations which are to be held in the month of March, the results will get published by June 2021 (Tentatively).

How to check NOU Result 2021?

The step by step process of how to check the NOU Result is given below:

1. Visit the official website of the Nalanda Open University (NOU)
2. On the homepage, once you scroll down, you’ll find the ‘Exam Results’ header, under which you can choose your respective program.
3. On clicking the link, you’ll find a list of course results and click on the respective result you’re looking for.
4. The result will be displayed and you can choose to download and take a hard copy for future reference.

Revaluation of NOU Result 2021:

After checking your result, if you received less than you expected, you can choose to apply for a revaluation or re-totaling of your answer script. For revaluation, you’ll have to submit the revaluation form and the prescribed fee. The form should be submitted before the deadline date, which is normally around a month since the publication of the results. The revaluation results generally take around a month to get published.

NOU Result Answer Script Photocopy:

Students who’ve written the annual exam and are confused about the marks they’ve received can request for a photocopy of the answer script after paying the prescribed fee. The fee is to be paid in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) in favor of Nalanda Open University. The photocopy of the answer script will be given to the respective student within 30 days of receiving the application.
