MES College of Engg. Scholarships

SCHOLARSHIPS

There is a provision for scholarship to meritorious students. The nature and quantum will be decided by the Managing Committee from time to time.

Financial assistance of Rs 5000/- each was granted from the Poor Students Aid Fund to 109 students during 2006-2007, 92 students during 2007-08 and 112 students during 2009-2010.Tuition fee was waived to 8 students admitted during 2007-2008

Award of scholarships and financial assistance to meritorious and needy students will be continued considering the merit of the issue.

Every year the Alumni Association Merit Awards are distributed to students who excel in University Examinations.

FEES

The fees will be decided by the Management based on the decision of the Government/High Court/Supreme Court. The fees are to be remitted at the beginning of the academic year.

Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.

If a student who was admitted under Management Quota leaves the college, he/she will have to pay all fees for the remaining period of the course. In the case of those who were admitted against Government seats the rules prescribed by the Government shall apply.

Concessions For SC/ST

SC,ST and OEC students should submit application for educational concessions in the prescribed form together with the necessary income certificate and community certificate to the Principal within 15 days from the date of admission for onward transmission to the sanctioning authority.

Fees paid by SC/ST students while joining will be refunded to eligible candidates as and when the same is reimbursed from the government.

  • Fee structure of  MES College of Engineering, [MESCE] is based on 2 categories one is based on income level which is Rs. 40,000 per annum and Rs. 65,000 for new admissions from 2015.
  • Fee structure in college is normalized for all students which are around Rs. 50,000 per annum.
  • Scholarship in college is available for the minority students and who have performed well in their academic year.
  • A student from each class with the top mark in university examination will be provided Rs. 15,000 (For the First position) and Rs. 10,000 (For the second position) during every year.
