Our course fees are INR 8000 per year for B.sc Scholarship are also available for students Nearly all of the students get scholarship No loans are needed.
In my 1st year I paid 4 thousand and same in a 2nd year also but in my final year I had to pay Rs 4500, according to me the fee is much cheapest, poorer also can pay easily. Up scholarship available here also, I just get in 2nd-year scholarship Rs 3600, no there's no loan facilities for students, and I think there no need for the loan.
The institution was established on July Ist 1960, affiliated to Gorakhpur University by the famous freedom fighter and senior cabinet Minister of U.P. late Thakur Hukum Singh Visen the founder president of the college for the promotion of higher education in the district. The then District Magistrate, Sri Girish Chander Chaturvedi I.A.S. as Vice president-I; Ex M.P. Late Pandit Bhagwaan Deen Vaidya as the Vice president-II of the college; Sri Sardar Jogindar Singh Ex. Governor of Rajasthan; Sri Babu Magan Bihari Lal Srivastava advocate & secretary of the college; Sri Bhagwati Singh as joint secretary; Dr. J.B. Singh the founder principal of the college and many other leading personalities of district extended their whole hearted co-operation for the institution.
The institution is situated in semi-urban area of Bahraich, near bank of pious river Saryu. The land area of college premises is about 10.396 hectares (i.e., 25.68908778 acres), in village Bhogajot, Gata No. 217. The world famous and historical Buddhist shirne Shrawasti (40 kms East) and wild life sanctuary (park) of Katernia Ghat(70 kms North), famous for Ghariyal, from the college.
There are many mythological facts about the great historical value of district Bahraich. It was also known as part of Gandharva Forest. Even today north east area of several hundred square Kms of district is covered by the forest. It is said that Brahma ji developed this area as the place of worship for Rishis and Sadhus. Therefore this place came to be to known as "Brahmaich". According to some other historians in the middle age this place was the capital of "Bhar" dynasty. Therefore it was known as "Bharraich" which later came to be known as Bahraich. This district is also known by one of the important spiritual place, Sita Doahar.
The institution is well connected by road is about 125 kms (North -East) from state capital i.e. Lucknow, and by rail (N.E.R.) also.
