JD Institute of Fashion Technology Surat scholarships is offered to eligible applicants. The main aim of the JD Institute of Fashion Technology Surat scholarship is to help financially struggling students to pursue higher studies. Heroes of Bravery Scholarship
The Heroes of Bravery scholarship is offered to those who have worked in the army. There are 3 seats under this JD Institute of Fashion Technology Surat scholarship. A complete fee waiver for the last semester is offered under this scholarship of JD Institute of Fashion Technology Surat. The eligibility criteria for the Heroes of Bravery scholarship are given below.
- Must be a resident of India.
- Must have an excellent academic record.
- Should be able to demonstrate the financial need for the scholarship.
- Should clear the Aptitude test and the Group Discussion round.
Independent Parent Scholarship
The Independent Parent scholarship is offered to either a single parent raising a child or a child of a single parent. There are two seats under this category. The waiver offered is a Full waiver- Last semester. Students meeting the following eligibility criteria will be offered a JDIFT scholarship.
- Open for national or international students.
- A minimum of 80% in the last academic year.
- Should be able to demonstrate the financial need for the scholarship.
- Should clear the Aptitude test and the Group Discussion round.
Transgender Scholarship
Two seats are offered under this JD Institute of Fashion Technology Surat scholarship. This is the only scholarship of JSIFT that offers a complete waiver of the fee. The eligibility criteria for the Transgender Scholarship are as follows.
- Must be a resident of India.
- Must have an excellent academic record.
- Must demonstrate the financial need for the scholarship.
- Should clear Aptitude test and Group Discussion rounds.
Frontline Health Workers Scholarship
The institute has yet to announce the number of seats and the type of waiver. However, the eligibility criteria set by the JD Institute of Fashion Technology Surat for the Frontline Health Workers Scholarship are given below.
- Must be a resident of India.
- Must have an excellent academic record.
- Should be able to demonstrate the financial need for the scholarship.
- Should clear the Aptitude test and the Group Discussion round.
Requirements to Avail JD Institute of Fashion Technology Surat Scholarship
Candidates must submit the documents given below to avail of the JD Institute of Fashion Technology Surat Scholarship. The requirements are the same for all the scholarships offered by the institute.
Write-up: The write-up submitted by the candidate must consist the following.
- Three goals the candidate is planning to achieve in the next 5 years. How will JD Institute of Fashion Technology Surat help the candidate to achieve the said goals. (Word limit- 500)
- A personal statement about the candidate, their hopes, ambitions, life experiences, inspirations, etc. (Word limit- 650)
Letters of Recommendation: Two letters of recommendation consisting of a brief statement describing the student’s character and motivation toward success must be submitted. Either members of the academic community or civic leaders must give these LORs.
Financial Statement: Financial statement of the self or working parent for the last two years must be submitted.
