ITM Meerut Placement Cell

ITM Meerut has got a separate cell for training and placement with the motto of training the students and inviting the companies for campus recruitment. The placement cell in this institute is taking care of in-plant training and apprentice training along with placement activities. It is headed by a well-experienced Placement and Training Officer to assist the students in career guidance, placement and to liaison with Technical Institutions and Industries. It helps the students to develop contacts with the companies while undergoing on-the-job training and doing their project work and for final placement in reputed industries and organisations. The Training and Placement cell at ITM provides personal and career-related support to its students.

ITM Meerut Internship

The internship is one of the most valuable programs of the B. Tech., MBA, and Polytechnic course curriculum. It provides a marvellous opportunity to work in the real corporate world. Engineering students are obliged to participate in a 4-week summer internship with an organisation as part of their curriculum. There are two goals for the internship. First, to provide students with a platform on which to use their theoretical knowledge and to improve their capacity to define, diagnose, and evaluate a specific managerial problem to find an acceptable solution. Second, to provide the student with an overview of today's business world and an understanding of the interpersonal skills needed to succeed in the job. After dealing with a real-world situation, the student leaves the summer internship with a much better awareness of the organisation's complex difficulties, a better understanding of operating factors, and a better understanding of the wider business environment.
