IMS BHU Fee Structure & Courses

Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, was established in 1960. The institute ranks number 8 on the NIRF ranking. The total tuition fee for MBBS is INR 30,000. 

The IMS BHU courses list has 4 UG and 3 PG courses. The institute has 3 faculties- Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dental Science, and Faculty of Ayurveda offering UG courses like MBBS, BAMS, BDS, and PG courses like MD, MS, and MDS in different specializations. The PG courses of MD and MS are offered, both in medicine and Ayurveda.

IMS BHU also has a College of Nursing and offers B.Sc nursing to students. Students who finish their postgraduate courses can also apply for doctoral courses of M.Ch, DM, and PhD. Aside from these degree courses, there are few PG diploma and certificate programs available at IMS BHU.

The IMS BHU fee for MBBS is INR 30,000. It is the total tuition fee for the course and does not include other variables. The admission fee for the course is INR 50. Similarly, the IMS BHU fee for B.Sc Nursing is INR 900. It is also the tuition fee for the course. 

The charges are low as BHU is a government institute. However, the total fee for the courses is subject to change as different charges may increase with the new session. 

IMS BHU Fee Payment Guidelines

Students seeking IMS BHU admission need to clear different entrance exams. For admission to MBBS, BAMS, and BDS, applicants need valid NEET scores, and for MS and MD admission, valid scores for NEET PG are required. Students would need to clear NEET MDS for MDS admission. 

For admission to B.Sc Nursing, the institute would make a merit list based on the scores of the last qualifying marks, and the admission process would begin after that. More details are available on the institute's official website. 

For admission to MBBS, NEET counseling results are considered. Once the result is announced and the counseling process is completed, college is allotted based on seat availability and choices made by the students. The steps to apply for the NEET entrance exam are given below:

• Visit the official website of NTA.
• Click on the announcement for NEET. 
• Register using your email ID and phone number. Students must keep these IDs and numbers active throughout the admission process. 
• Fill in the application form.
• Attach the required documents, photograph, and signature in the given dimensions. 
• Pay the application fee. 
• Print out the application form and fee receipt for future reference.

The application fee is payable online by students. In order to reserve a spot, students must additionally pay the admission fee after counseling is finished. The IMS BHU fees can be paid online or offline. Online modes of payment are
