- Candidate should have a vaild GATE score or National Fellowship and should have qualified BTech/ BE/ MTech/ MS/ ME in CSE/ IT/ ECE/ EE/ Other Engineering with a CGPA of at least 7.5 or 70%
- candidates who have qualified MCA/ MSc (CSE/ IT/ ECE/ EE and allied areas) degree are eligible to apply with a condition that they have BSc in computer science or in any other subject with one course as Engineering
- Candidate should have JRF-Junior Research Fellowship from either UGC/ CSIR/ NBHM/ DST or GATE schore at least 400 and should have qualified MSc(Maths)/ MSc(physics)/ MSc(Statistics)/ MStat/ MPhil(Maths)/ BTech/ MTech/ BE/ ME in CS/ ECE/ Maths and Similar Inter-disciplinary programs with a CGPA of at least 7.5 or 70% at UG and PG levels
- Candidate should have completed MA/ MSc/ MPhil in Sociology or Anthropology or BTech/ MTech in any discipline or MBA in Sociology/ anthrolopology with CGPA of at least 7.5 or at least 55% marks for MA/ MSc degree holder
- Candidates fellowship stipend in first year is Rs.27000 per month and from 2nd -4th year it can go up to Rs.30000 per month
