Library

The University Library was established in the year 1958. This is a unique library in the country devoted primarily to the study and research on Indian Classical Music and Visual arts.

The State Library of the Khairagarh State called Edward Library was merged in the Janpad Library and later the Janpad Library was merged in the University library, therefore this library is having very useful and rare books on contemporary history, literature and some other disciplines. The University was recognized by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi (U.G.C.) in the year 1971.  The library building was constructed in the 6th five-year plan under U.G.C. grants.

Audio-Visual Section (Listening Room)

University is the Mecca of Indian Music. The great Artists of our time feel honored to be in the campus of the I.K.S. University. You name the artist, University has some material on him or her. The oldest classical recitals are kept in the Audio-Visual Section (i.e., Listening Room) with utmost care.

Audio-visual materials play vital role in the field of Performing and Visual arts. It provides regular listening facility to the students and researchers. This section have a number of audiocassettes, audio CDs related to Indian Classical Music both Hindustani Karnatic, Light-Music, Bhajans and Ghazals etc.

Museum

The University Museum has a number of archaeological art pieces depicting vividly rich culture of this part of country. The museum is fully documented and would certainly draw the attention of those interested in art and culture of the state. A mini Classical & Folk Musical-Instrument Gallery may attract the visitors interested in History of Musical Instruments.

Guest House

The University has well equipped guest house for stay.  This facility is available on prior permission of Registrar/VC. The guests are allowed maximum three days for stay.

Health Centre

The University has separate health centre.  This facility is available for University students and staff.
