Indian Institute of Management, [IIM] Bodh Gaya was established in 2015 and set up under the mentorship of IIM Calcutta, the oldest IIM in the country. IIM Bodh Gaya aspires to promote a culture that can create socially responsible managers and emotionally mature leaders and follows the same pedagogy as IIM Calcutta. IIM Bodh Gaya is currently operating temporarily from the Institute of Distance Education building of the Magadh University. The institute offers scholarships to students so that they can pursue their education easily.

NBFA Scholarship: All qualifying individuals admitted to the Postgraduate program in management at the Indian Institute of Management, Bodh Gaya, are eligible for Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA). The Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) program of IIM Bodh Gaya aims to ensure that no participant is denied access to the institute's education due to financial constraints. The number of grantees and the amount of aid are decided in two steps by the NBFA Committee. NBFA scheme provides financial assistance based on the family income of the student as given below.
