Executive MBA Details

IIM Amritsar EMBA is a 2-year, hybrid mode, non-residential with 5 days per year of campus visits program intertwined with live virtual classes. EMBA classes are delivered online via video conferencing using an interactive learning management system. The program is offered over weekends with classes on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Admission to IIM Amritsar EMBA (Hybrid) is based on the scores of the CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE. Alternatively, interested candidates can also attempt the IIM Amritsar Admission Test (IAAT) which is similar to the CAT exam.

IIM Amritsar EMBA Eligibility Criteria

IIM Amritsar EMBA eligibility criteria is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and a minimum of 3 years of progressive work experience in a managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional role. 

Also, the applicant must have a valid score in CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE. Alternatively, the students can also choose to take the IIM Amritsar Admission Test (IAAT) which is similar to the CAT Examination.

IIM Amritsar EMBA admission 2023 is based on the CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE/ IAAT entrance exam. Candidates who meet the entrance exam score cutoff will receive invitations for online personal interviews. The selection process involves a thorough evaluation of the candidate's academic history, professional growth, capacity to excel, dedication to the program, and overall motivation.

• Pay the application fees (INR 1500 non-refundable. Additional INR 1000 non-refundable exam fee for candidates applying via IAAT).

Entrance Exam

The IIM Amritsar EMBA entrance exam is conducted by IIM Amritsar which is known as the IIM Amritsar Admission Test (IAAT). However, students who have appeared for CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE are exempted from taking the IAAT entrance exam.

Documents Required

The following documents are required for the application for IIM Amritsar EMBA:

• Secondary School Certificate and mark sheet
• Higher Secondary School Certificate and mark sheet
• Graduation degree and mark sheet
• Work experience certificates
• In the case the candidates are currently employed somewhere, then they may upload the offer letter and the last month’s salary slip
• In case of students having their own entrepreneurial venture/ startup/ shop or any commercial establishments, then applicants may upload the incorporation certificate of the company.
• Candidate’s scanned image (max size – 413*413 pixels)
• Candidate’s scanned signature (max size – 413*413 pixels)
• Candidate should upload all the documents in support of their educational qualification that they have mentioned in the application form
• In case the applicants have CGPA or other evaluation criteria other than marks, then they must upload the conversion matrix/ formula from grades to marks.
• Statement of Purpose (SOP) (500-word limit)

IIM Amritsar EMBA Fees 

The IIM Amritsar EMBA fees 2023 is INR 12 Lakhs payable in six installments before the commencement of each term. It is the total fee for the course and includes tuition, books, course material, and other library and membership facilities for various clubs and committees at IIM Amritsar. However, the International Immersion cost is to be paid separately by interested participants.
