Indian Institute of Information Technology was established in 2013 by the Government of Rajasthan and the MHRD. As of now, IIIT Kota does not have its own building. It is being operated from the premises of the mentor Institute (MNIT Jaipur). The institute is currently using Malviya Nagar University as its Temporary campus and is an Autonomous University. The campus will be later shifted to the main site constructed at Ranpur near Kota, Rajasthan. Indian Institute of Information Technology courses include undergraduate programs. The institute also provides the perfect environment for conducting cutting edge research so as to meet the future and current challenges in the Technical field. The institution has a lot of amenities in the college campus and it also has an ICICI bank branch inside the campus.

IIIT Kota Admission 2024

The admissions of the IIIT Kota is purely made on the basis of JEE mains and JEE advanced entrance exams. The candidate has to have a valid JEE Mains Scorecard. The seat is allotted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority [JoSAA] in the online counselling process. The admissions are made on the admission department in the campus, and candidates must be present at the time of the admission. Currently, the institute has an annual intake of 214 students for the B.Tech programme (143 in Computer Science & Engineering and 71 in Electronics & Communication Engineering). Fees payment can be online on the official website of the institution in the Stata Bank Collect online portal which is linked in the official website and also cards are accepted but cash payments are not accepted.

• The admissions will be based on the merit obtained in the entrance exam. The candidate will have to attend the counselling process of the entrance exam.
