LIBRARY

GNIET has fully computerized library whose total area is 562 Sq. M. with well-furnished reading room for students and staff with 200 siting capacity. It has computers with internet connections which facilitate the students and staff to update their knowledge with latest information.Our library is vast store house of knowledge having an extensive collection of books and journals. The books are systematically arranged according to title and subjects. A copier facility is also provided for the benefit of the students. We have 19268 total number of volumes ,3066 number of titles,48 journals,8 magzine,663 number of E-books,457 CD’s with various national and international journals.

CANTEEN

The canteen is the lifeblood of the students which is a focal place for rest and refreshment. Canteen has become a welcome break for both the students and staffs and is the daily hob-nob in the busy college hours. GNIET has a full-fledged cafeteria within the campus which has hundred students sitting capacity with a beautiful infrastructure, catering the needs of students and staff. The canteen enables all students to have snacks, soft drinks and hot beverages. A variety of hygienic food and snack items includes South and North Indian Meals, Variety Rices, Tandoori, Chat, Chinese Foods, Cakes, Fresh Juices, Fruits; Ice Creams galore are highly popular among students as well as staffs at nominal rates. Students enjoy their food in the clean, well maintained, aesthetic and appetizing atmosphere. Kitchen staff takes care to provide the students and staff a nutritious and hygienic food with a lively home surrounding.

TRANSPORTATION

GNIET offered a hassle-free and safe transportation to students on a subsidized rate. The collage has its own fleet of buses which give a ride to students and staffs from assign location from Nagpur and Katol. Numbers of MSRTC buses reach the collage well in time and a bus stop is available at the collage gate. The Institutions has 16 buses for the benefit of the day′s scholar students and the staff. The bus facilities are being utilized for local visits and educational trips.

COMPUTING CENTER

GNIET provides the state-of-art computer center for academics and research community.This is the hub of the institutions network, which connects to all departments and the Internet. It is equipped with latest software and hardware. The computing needs are served by high-end server system. The networks are secured against virus and Trojan threats with Quick-Heal Standard Server with Firewall and scan (Internet Security Suite). It has a dedicated leased line provided by TTML to cater to the web-based browsing needs of students, It also provides Wireless (Wi-Fi) network facility. College has tied up with Microsoft Academic Alliance Program.

CONFERENCE HALL

GNIET has a well equipped, well furnished conference hall with ultra modern audio-visual technology. Many workshops and seminars held here by the various departments.

DEPARTMENTAL LAB

All the labs of each department have a state-of-art infrastructure with all required amenities for the specified course catering the demands of syllabus and students.

LANGUAGE LAB

The language laboratory is an audio or audio-visual installation used as an aid in modern language teaching. The language lab in GNIET consists of a teacher console plus 26 interfaced audio cassette listening/recording workstations with modern infrastructure. From the teacher console, the instructor may conduct oral exams, discreetly monitor and converse with students, activate random pairing and group conferencing among students. As English language plays a vital role in modern era, the whole focus is given on the training of students in grammar, vocabulary, extempore, debates, seminars, presentation. HOSTEL

GNIET provides exclusive student residences for both boys and girls separately. As GNIET is being located in a rural area hostel accommodation is planned and provided to meet the demands of the students. For boys the hostel accommodation is in the college campus whereas for girls the hostel accommodation is in the city area. Both the hostels are provided with solar water heaters and water coolers, telephone and net connection, televisions and the necessary sports facility for studentsâ€™ entertainment. Delicious morning and evening snacks with healthy and hygienic lunch and dinner are the key point of attraction of the students

SPORTS

To enhance the overall personality of students with physical fitness ,team work, leadership quality and healthy nurture mind GNIET provides advance indoor and outdoor facilities. To make the proverb true ′Sound mind in a sound body′, institute frequently organizes sports gathering and encourage the students to participate at University, State and National level sports activities.

Cricket, Volleyball,, football, kho-kho grounds as well as Well Equipped Basketball Hard Courts and the indoor sporting facilities are provided.
