Campus :-

The Greenwood campus is meticulously planned & Set upon ten acres of land with State of the art, building & infrastructure having a peaceful environment suitable for concentration & proper learning. The campus is well equipped with well-planned buildings having facilities like well lit lecture halls, tutorial rooms, drawing halls, laboratories, library, computer lab, hostels (boys & girls), auditorium and common rooms for boys & girls separately. The institute plans to have special play ground, tennis courts & gymnasiums. The campus having lush green lawns & landscaping is done by experts.

Library

A well stocked, computerized with reprographics facilities library is available to support the academic interest of the students. Students could avail of the facilities of Book bank as well as other reference books by registering himself with the library by reporting the library with his New Admission proof. Latest Journals on contemporary issues along with scientific topics and Daily newspapers are the integral part of library. Students could use facilities from 9:00AM to 5:PM.

Edusat Services

Sensing the need of modern teaching aids, GWP is equipped with state of the art infrastructure such as EDUSAT and audio visual/communication labs using LCD projectors and internet connectivity.

Sports Activities

To have a noticeable representation in the Inter polytechnic athletic meets and in house sporting competitions, institute is providing requisite infrastructure in terms of playgrounds for Badminton, Kabadi, Hand Ball and Basket Ball etc. Specialist coach with vast experience has been deputed training to the aspirants.

Recreational Activities

Once you enroll yourself in the world of Green Wood Polytechnic you can become the member of MOTLEY club, a club established by the students and for the students. The club provides platform for all recreational activities which include celebration of festivals, quiz, declamation contests and charitable activities such as Blood Donation campus and helping poor students by providing monetary support. In addition to Motley club more specific department oriented recreational activities are carried out by the various department clubs such as Mechnauts, Pixels, Electrons, Civilians, and coloumbus force for Mechanical Engg., Computer Engg., Electronics Engg., Civil Engg. And Electrical Engg. Respectively to this Annual Fest during the month of february every year will be the feast to watch !.

Communication Skill

Green Wood institute exclusively launched a full fledged Communication skill and personality Development programme in the very first semester to prepare the students to have and edge over other contemporary institutes. The whole programme is out sourced to professional agency to provide state of the art training programme to all the students of the institute.

Transportation Facilities

The institution has its own fleet of buses playing on various routes within as well as out skirts of Karnal city. Students commuting from nearby villages and cities are entitled for bus pass facilities as per the norms of the Haryana State Govt.

Hostel

The institute offers separate hostel facilities for boys and girls keeping the homely care in mind. Adequate security arrangements have been provided for safety and security of the inmates to ensure a pleasant stay. The air conditioned residential apartment suites consist of rooms with an attached bathroom.

Guest House

The institute has separate Guest House with all modern facilities, for boarding and other recreational activities. The Guest House has its own mess to provide good and hygienic food to the visitors. Each room is equipped with a bed, study table, study chair and almirah. The Guest House provides newspapers and various magazines to make them aware of the daily happenings of the world.
