GNIOT Admission 2021:

GNIOT was established in 2001. GNIOT Admission is much sought after due to the vibrant curriculum and student-friendly nature. It has the approval by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, India and affiliated to Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow The primary objective is to mould a bunch of highly creative professionals, who can contribute to the National Building Exercise in addition to Human Resource Development. Candidates are required to appear in CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/XAT/ATMA and produce the scorecard. Group discussions and personal interviews are conducted at the Institute and various other places. The admission merit list is prepared on the applicant’s academic record, work experience, scores in management test, performance in the GNIOT selection process including group discussions, and personal interviews.

GNIOT UG Admission 2021:

Candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University and securing following minimum aggregate without grace to obtain the following degree.

GNIOT UG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, and Admission Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 [Science] from any recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks for SC/ ST candidates and 50% for other candidates.
  • For the UPSEE counselling candidate, he/ she must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board with a minimum of 40% marks for SC/ ST candidates and 45% for other candidates. 
  • Physics and Maths are mandatory subjects.
B.Tech [Lateral] N/A
  • Candidates who apply after a 3-year Engineering Diploma from a university recognized by the Board of Technical Education must score a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST) when applying through UPSEE counselling.
  • In the case of direct admission, the criteria are 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST).
  • Candidates who apply after 3 years B.Sc degree with Maths as a mandatory subject in the 12th must score a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST) when applying through UPSEE counselling.
  • In the case of direct admission, the criteria are 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST).
BBA  -
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 [Science/commerce] from any recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks for SC/ ST candidates and 50% for other candidates.

GNIOT PG Admission 2021:

  • Candidates should clear the B.Tech in relevant branch or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate.
  • 5% relaxation for SC/ ST Candidates.
  • Due weightage is given to the candidate with a valid Gate score in the respective branch.
  • Candidates having a degree of MCA, M.Sc (C.Sc or IT) are eligible to apply for M.Tech (C.Sc).
  • For admission to M.Tech (EEE), M.Sc (Electrical Engg.) candidates are also eligible
MBA/MCA
  • Candidates must have passed BBA or equivalent with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% SC/ ST).
  • For MCA, the candidate must have cleared 10+2 level or Graduation.
MCA(Lateral entry)
  • Candidates must have graduated with a minimum of 50% (45% SC/ ST)aggregate.
  • Passing in Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.

GNIOT PG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, and Admission Criteria: 

Candidates with a UG degree in a relevant branch or equivalent with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST category students) in aggregate can apply for PG programs AT GNIOT.

M.Tech -
  • Candidate must have passed B.Tech in relevant branch or equivalent with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST category students) in aggregate. Those having valid GATE/GPAT score in the branch in which he/she is desirable to seek admission shall be given due weightage.
  • For admission to M.Tech (Computer Science) candidates having a degree of MCA, M.Sc (Computer Science) or M.Sc. (Information Technology) are also eligible.
  • For admission to M.Tech (Electronics Engineering & related branches), candidates having a degree of M.Sc. (Electronics Engineering) are also eligible.
  • Candidates not having Mathematics at intermediate level shall be required to compulsorily qualify a non-credit course on Mathematics of Intermediate level in the first semester of the M.Tech Program.
MBA INR 10,000
  • Candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognized Indian University or its equivalent, recognized by AIU securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate without any grace. In case of admission in MCA, the candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.

GNIOT Admission process consists of 8 steps. once all these steps are followed carefully, students can then report to their respective classes.

STEP-1
All students allotted seat from UPSEE Counseling are advised to collect the Following from Admission Coordinator after producing Original UPSEE Seat Allotment Letter :
(i) Prospectus (ii) Fee Structure (Form No. 1)
(iii) List of Documents Required (Form No. 2) (iv) Request Letter for the issue of Admission form (Form No. 3)
(v) Affidavit by Student for Anti-Ragging (Form No. 5) (vi) Affidavit by Parents for Anti-Ragging (Form No. 6)
(vii) Temporary I.D Card Form (Form No. 7) (viii) Gap Year Affidavit (in case of Gap Year) – Form No. 8
(ix) Request Letter for availing Scholarship (Form No. 9) (x) Scholarship Form (Form No. 10)
(xi) Scholarship Affidavit of Student (Form No. 11) (xii) Scholarship Affidavit of Parent (Form No. 12)
(xiii) Bus Pass form (Form No. 13) – If Interested for Bus Facility

STEP-2

After Filling-up of Request Letter for the issue of Admission Application Form (Form No. 3), if the student, is eligible for availing Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/GEN/MIN categories, as per guidelines of Samaj Kalyan Office, and if they are interested in availing the Scholarship facility from Samaj Kalyan Office, they are advised to contact Scholarship Coordinator of the Institute and deposit The Form No. 09 along with requisite documents.
After depositing the above documents, the Scholarship Coordinator will verify the same and allow for relaxation of Tuition Fee/Scholarship as prescribed by the Samaj Kalyan Office.

STEP-3
Students are advised to contact Admission Coordinator along with Request Letter for the issue of Admission Form (Form No. 3) along with Photocopy of documents listed on the back of form No. 3 and get the permission for the issue of Admission File. The Admission File contains the following documents :
(i) Admission Application Form (Form No. 4) (ii) I.D. Generation Form (Form No. 16)

STEP-4
After collecting the Admission File, the candidate is informed to report at Waiting Room and fill the Admission form (Form No. 4) and I.D. Generation Form (Form No. 16) and submit the self-attested photocopy of documents mentioned in the list of documents required (Form: 2) for completion of the admission file.

STEP-5
After completing all the documents required in the Admission File, Students are advised to contact the Respective File Coordinators (Branch-wise Counter List displayed in front of the Room) for I.D. generation and Fee Deposit Slip

STEP-6
Collect the Fee Deposit Slip from the Coordinator and Deposit the Academic/Hostel Fee at Accounts Section

STEP-7
In case, students opted for Institute Hostel, they are informed to contact Hostel Warden at Reception of Girls Hostel (in case of the female candidate) or New Boys Hostel (in case of the male candidate) along with Hostel Registration Form No. 14 and photocopy of required Hostel Fee deposited for booking of a hostel room.

STEP-8
In case, students opted for Institute Transport Facility, they are informed to contact Transport In-charge (along with Form No. 13) for the issue of Bus Pass after depositing the required fees.
