Intership is 1 year including at the final year stipend is mostly not provided here and some alternative interships are also organised where you may br paid like currently at national bontaical (ayush.gov.in) Average salary depends on how you see if a ayurvedic doctor goes to a alopatic hospital then he might not be paid what he deserves and vice versa for alopathy My take to salary Without experience alopathy 15-25k / month Without experience ayurveda 20-30k/month With experience alopathy 15-30k / month With experience ayurveda 25-40k/ month

As in profession of Doctor we have to do more practical work than the theory work. So, we are always given practice session in govt. hospitals and also in panel hospitals.
