Health Centre

A lady doctor monitors the health aspects of the girl students by visiting the institution for one hour every day. The local doctor extends their services on concession rates to the girl students whenever they need. Medical checkup is being done to all the students every year by the College. Part time Nurse is appointed to take care of Residential students during Night times

Canteen

The Campus provides canteen facility that caters to the students requirements till late hours. It provides tea/coffee ,breakfast , lunch and snacks facility at economical prices .Special care is taken to provide quality and hygienic food to students. Students can also get things prepared of their own choice on payment basis. It also provides stationary and cosmetics.

GRIEVANCES AND REDRESSEL CELL

The Grievances and Redressel Cell was framed to look after the Grievances of the students and for adopting the Redressel mechanism.

Branch of Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank

Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank Opened extention counter during 2007 has been upgraded as branch in 2013 and extending necessary services to the staff and students .

Telephone booth facility is provided to the students within the campus.

A Home away from home

Hostel accommodation is being provided to outstation students in four hostel blocks each with 3 floors. A clean, healthy and hygienic diet will be supplied. The hostels are under the control and management of principal. Hostel is maintaining with Deputy Warden, two matrins and residential tutors. Hostel office is located in the Hostel premises. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the Hostel. Study hours are maintained, extra coaching is given to Hostel students by the resident tutors. Reading/ common Halls are provided with television, news papers. Indoor games room, gym, visitors hall, sick room, Telephone booth, Bank Branch are also available. The Mess is run on no profit no loss basis following dividing system.

EXTENSION PROGRAMMES

The College has Extension activity unit. Two teachers from U.G. and two teachers from P.G. supervise the extension activities of the Students. These activities include community development, Social Works, health and hygiene awareness, Medical Camps, Adult Education, Literacy and Blood donation camps, AIDS awareness, Environmental awareness, Clean and Green programmes are undertaken.

• The voluntary organizations like Lions Club, Rotary Club, L.I.C. of India, Labour Welfare committee conduct all types of competitions and also medical camps in our premises.
• Our students participate in all these competitions and serve as volunteers in all medical camps. The services of the students are being appreciated very much by all these organizations.
• The Red Cross society conducts blood donation camps once in every six months and many students donate blood.
• Scriptural classes are being conducted to inculcate moral values among the students. Eminent personalities from different religions will deliver lectures.

The College inculcates civic responsibilities among the students through Rotary and Lions service organizations and other extension activities. Personality development classes are conducted and through curricular and extracurricular activities all round personality development is achieved.

Participation in community affairs will help the students to achieve unity in diversity. The college has already taken up community oriented programmes to uplift the poor and backward uneducated people in and around Gudur town and conducting awareness programmes in Harijan and Girijan colonies i.e most backward SC, ST areas. The college intends to continue the same in future also.
