Scholarship at Dhote Bandhu Science College, Gondia:

The students who come under backward class and lower income group should apply for Govt. Of India scholarship from their respective college in the month of June only. The application form will be availabe at the time of admission. Any wrong information filled in the form, the students will be disqualified from the scholarship. The students having gap in their education should file a court affidavit mentioning as to what they were doing during the gap period. The students who were in receipt of Govt. of India scholarship previous year and have cleared the annual examination need not fill the application form, their cases will be submitted to the Director of Social Welfare by the college for the renewal of scholarship. The students of B.A. Part 1 and M.A. Part 1 will be treated as freshers for the purpose of scholarship and they are required to apply in the prescribed form for the scholarship.

Economically Backward Catagory Concession:

• Free studentship for E. B. C. students.
• The students whose parents and guardians ( if guardians are not alive) yearly pay of the earlier year is not as much as Rs. 15 thousand are entitled for this concession.
• Students who have once taken their post graduate education are not qualified for E.B.C. ,If they get themselves admission either for the another post graduate degree or law.
• Repeaters who fail in the University exam and study in the same class are not eligible to E.B.C.
• The students whose parents / gaurdians are private / central Govt. employees, their claim depend on the total salary which should be within fifteen thousand i.e. basics and allowances.
• The students who are resident of Maharashtra state only are eligible for free studentship.
