HOSTEL

The Institute provides excellent hostel facility within the campus for the students who wish to avail the campus residential facility. The boys' hostel is located at the rear end of the college while the girls' hostel is situated inside college campus. There is hostel buildings for boys' with a capacity to accommodate around 100 students. All students will be provided with double occupancy rooms. Girls' hostel houses 30 students based on double occupancy. There is a provision to accommodate around 15 first year students in Boys' hostel while around 10 students could be allowed to stay in girls' hostel.Each hostel is provided with round the clock caretakers and other essential staff. Honorable Secretary of the institute & Chairman of hostel Advisory committee monitors overall organization of hostels & provides guidelines time to time. With personal attention and supervision, a clean, healthy and cheerful atmosphere is maintained at the hostels.

SPORTS AND GYMKHANA

DESCOET provides all modern facilities for various sports and gymkhana. The institute frequently organizes sports gathering and even promotes students to participate in state and national level sports activities. The institute has developed indoor sports room and gym for the students and faculty members. Separate sports officer looks after the sports activities. The students have excelled at National & International level activity by bagging the prestigious prizes and awards.

CAMPUS WIDE NETWORKING

Institute has around 200 Computers connected through Internet. The entire Institute is connected through campus wide networking. Entire campus is Wi-Fi. It connects all the departments to common servers. The interdepartmental communication is always through Intranet Server.. The Institute is having Internet Mail Server www.descoet.org. Students are encouraged to have their own Laptops which can be given the unique id to access Internet. Our capacity of over 200 computers that work on 20 MBPS leased line connections. At a time, the lab provides FREE internet surfing facility to more than 100 students operating from 8 am to 10 pm. Institute maintain 20 Mbps BSNL leased line and 2 MBPS Vodafone with Wi-Fi enabled Campus
